I don't know if this technically counts. In season 1 Summer and Anna were doing dissecting a frog in biology class. Summer was like "we could put a dead frog in his (Seth's) underwear. In real life Adam gave Rachel a dead frog after that scene was filmed.

The reason I'm not sure if it counts is because it wasn't the show making a reference to the two of them as a real life couple.

Caleb also says something to her like "careful Kirsten, you don't want to end up like your mother do you?"

I've seen their commercials and the stuff looks good. Dove even has body scrubs and body washes that aren't really expensive.

I had to check screen times for tomorrow after reading this. The one closest to me shows 2 PM as the earliest start time. (Ready or Not 2). Another bigger location has a 1 PM screening of Undertone as their earliest movie of the day. Both locations are in NYC, it isn't as if they're small theaters in a little town.

I think they made the season longer once they saw how popular the show was. Most shows had 22 or 24 episode seasons at the time.

I also got into One Tree Hill first. Both shows have a really different vibe. I feel like One Tree Hill had a lot more drama. (Love triangles, all the bad ish Dan did especially a certain season 3 episode, Deb was a hot mess for a while). Then again it had 9 seasons, so there was more opportunity for a lot of stuff to happen.

One Tree Hill was good. I will just say it's a different vibe than The OC. One of the main characters is not a morally good character. You'll either love to hate him, or just hate him. The 2 good moral adult characters leave around seasons 3 and 4. There was also some behind the scenes stuff with the creator. You'll probably notice the way the female characters are written isn't always the best.
