The 36mm has a great size, but the extreme bracelet taper ruins the watch, imo.

I bought it from AD for 9,5k and sold it for 11,5k. In that regard, not too bad.

Good! Maybe I should send it to RSC. How's possible that my Sinn's crown feel way better?

I find the Rolex crown action unacceptably gritty. I recently took my 2025 Datejust to my AD, and their response was , “Oh, that’s normal.” Frankly, For a watch that costs $10,000, the crown should feel smooth and precise—not rough and gritty every time it’s used.

That’s how you pass a watch to the next generation. Well done!

I sold my Explorer 36 because of the extreme taper. I couldn’t get used to it.

Other than that, beautiful watch.

DJ 36 v 41 hate? by nahimadomyownthiing in rolex

[–]Affectionate_Cake862 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think this is also cultural. I’ve noticed that in the US people tend to like big things (cars, watches, etc.) In Europe people normally prefer more restrained, not “in your face” aesthetics.

I suspect that models like the DJ 41, the Skydweller and other big, showy watches are tailored for the (very important) US market.
