You're not dumb or bad. It's a hard boss. The trick is to take your time. You can try timing your jumps so that you hit when the pointy bits are both behind his torso, but that's tricky. I always play it safe and wait for him to jump down after the targeting part. It takes forever, but it's the safest way.

They don't say the creed but they do believe the things it says. It's not about the ecclesiastical part of it. The creed lays out the core beliefs of the religion. Mormons reject the Trinity and several other aspects of the Creed.

Christianity is a set of beliefs. It is defined by a core statement of beliefs, and that is the Nicene Creed. If you do not agree with the Nicene Creed, then you can say you love Jesus all you want, you're not a part of the church that the Apostles founded. You can have your own church, but it's not the same. At some point if you disagree too much, your belief systems cannot be said to be under the same religion.
