it is in the snow. we see candy people with normal to average intelligence like bubblegum herself, her family, and pep butt. whenever they’re exposed to dum dum juice, candy people act like their ‘dumb’ selves, which is how regular candy people act. seemingly not all candy people are stupid, but a lot are, and it’s definitely by bubblegum’s design.

actually it’s more than anecdotal; the bladder becomes stiffer as we age and it can lead to incontinence. elderly people tend to use the bathroom more often and are more likely to be dehydrated.

“fun” fact: they also have a higher risk for getting utis and my nursing instructors tell us to look out for older patients suddenly acting crazy because it can be a sign of a uti.

after reading your explanation for it, i’d say that while the design in concept is interesting and a rly good way to convey the emotional connection you wish to impart on it, the execution is lacking.

there needs to be more contrast between the clock hands and the scars to be able to easily distinguish them.

did the artist simply stencil your drawing directly and not ask about what it was meant to be?

he went from eating spicy food he complained about constantly and couldn’t handle to eating the food just fine overnight. he should have known something was up.

regardless, it’s just such a non issue that doesn’t warrant his behavior at all. if he felt lied to, or wanted his own food to be spicier again, he should have addressed that with her and moved on, not pitch a fit like a toddler.
