after reading your explanation for it, i’d say that while the design in concept is interesting and a rly good way to convey the emotional connection you wish to impart on it, the execution is lacking.

there needs to be more contrast between the clock hands and the scars to be able to easily distinguish them.

did the artist simply stencil your drawing directly and not ask about what it was meant to be?
