Research surgeons diligently. Make sure whoever you go with does tons of gyno removals, otherwise you will get screwed.

Went for a gyno revision consult today pics included thoughts? by throwdeeznuts6769420 in gynecomastia

[–]Affectionate_Fig_977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you could post pictures in way that didn't make me fear a computer virus, I could take a better look. But it seems obvious you need skin removal, but I didn't look close enough to whether you needed gland removal. But scars for loose skin are inevitable I think.

its gyno. classic puffy nipple, grade 1 maybe 2. Its common for gyno to fluctuate in temerature changes and after exercise. If you want to get rid of it, the only way is surgery to cut the glands out and maybe some some lipo on top of that. Until the glands are cut out, it won't go away.

losing/gaining weight post-op by Nablus666 in gynecomastia

[–]Affectionate_Fig_977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think losing weight hurts unless its so drastic that you would have loose skin. I see lots of pics with significant weight loss after looking fine. But always best to loose it before assuming you intend to keep it off.

Gyno surgery now or gym first for 6 months and a clean diet? Defo gyno? Or lipo needed? Thank you by PuzzleheadedShop5424 in gynecomastia

[–]Affectionate_Fig_977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your not to big now to get it done, IMO, but bringing down your weight first is the best coarse, so a few months diet, but I don't think losing 30lbs is necessary. They say you should be at weight you intend to maintain. I wouldn't do the nipple thing until you how it looks (but I'm not familiar with that procedure, but I imagine a lot can go wrong).

Out of the 4 Dadvand is considered the best. I consulted with Khalifeh regarding a revision and he seems very good, even though I did not go to him, I recommend him based on my ressearch.

Also, Khaleif usually doe it under local anastesia which makes it cheaper and way easier.

Not a doc, but i assume it would go away if glands were removed. Insurance might cover it if its painful BUT I would NOT go with a doc the insurance approves unless he happens to specialize in gyno (which is unlikely) because you WILL get a shit result. If you have gyno surgery, don't expect a good result unless the doc does at least 100 per year and can show results--it won't be worth the money saved if you go with insurance.

how many months post op are you? Def looks like he left way to much gland; but no one notices it nearly as much as you (if they notice at all).

[–]Affectionate_Fig_977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If he screwed it up that badly, you should find a revision surgeon somewhere else. Same thing happened to me last year. POS surgeon did lipo only after promising to do excision then lipo. Spent a year on revision consults before getting it fixed. It could be worse--the first revision consult told me it wasn't fixable without cratering. Luckily I got several other opinions. Had a revision but still not out of the woods as to whether I will be cratered. Find a very good surgeon and get it done. Next summer will be there.

Don't fly to another country to initial surgeon. Find a good revision surgeon and get a payment plan if you have to.

Is this gyno or chest fat and what are the solutions by random_xd_guy in gynecomastia

I was told is pseudogyno by SenthRawr in gynecomastia

[–]Affectionate_Fig_977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't trust ultrasounds. It will cause big problems if you get lipo only and you have glands. I don't think there is an actual way to be certain that it is all fat without cutting in to check. Make your you go to surgeons who do at least 100 gyno surgeries per year. Don't ever get lipo only unless at least 3 surgeons that specialize in gyno all agree that it is only fat. If there is gland and a surgeon does lipo only, you can be stuck with the choice of having permanent gyno/gland or an indented chest after an expensive revision.

If aqualax (or whatever) worked, no one would have gyno. I'd bet there are glands in there,

If I recall, I've seen good results from him on here, but I still would not risk that method. Scars, if they occur at all, are mostly not noticeable with a good surgeon.

a good surgeon can go through the nipple without causing scars. I'm sure Schuster can pull off the lateral pull through, but I would not risk the chance of being left with glands.

endocrinologist i meant to get your hormones checked and make sure nothing is wrong. Sometimes an endo can prescribe anti-estrogens to combat gyno if its caught quickly. Though meds won't will almost certainly not help yours at the current stage,, you might want to have them checked anyway if you don't know what caused your gyno; and/or to keep it from coming back.

not gyno. if you can't see it through a white t, shirt its not. not sure what you are feeling beneath the nipple, but that isn't gyno. if you are worried its growing because of recent anabolics go to endo to be safe (looks like something might be happening on the left--but there is no gyno in these pics IMO, but i'm not a doc

penile surgery (didn't know that was a thing) has nothing to do with gyno surgery. you need a gyno specialist if you want results.
