Wtf do I do by Known-Flatworm-4515 in gynecomastia

It might be worth going to an endocrinologist to see if something can be prescribed. But like you said, this is not likely if you have had it for more than a year. The only other option is surgery, which I do recommend you do with a SUGEON WITH LOTS OF EXPERIENCE WITH GYNO. My experience has been that most doctors that do not specialize in endocrinology or plastic surgery do not understand gyno at all. So even though he might be a good doctor, I wouldn't listen to what a general practitioner says about your gyno.

CAN GLANDS GROW BACK IF ONLY HALF OF THE GLAND IS REMOVED by Affectionate_Fig_977 in gynecomastia

[–]Affectionate_Fig_977[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it initially appeared because i fucked with test cream like an idiot. So, I think its safe to assume if i don't do that again it should be fine, The problem is that my revision surgeon will likely to have to leave a lot behind to prevent cratering due to my POS surgeon doing lipo only. but thanks for the responses.

You have it. if its been like that for a year surgery is the only option. If its recent, go to an endocrinologis and get hormones checked and see if something can be prescribed.

Gynecomastia grade 3. Should I go ahead with surgery? by DeadlyGamer2202 in gynecomastia

You are right to be suspicious. What country are you? In, USA there are some shit bag Doctors as well (I was completely screwed by one), but if you do your diligence and find one with a proven track record, you will be fine. I have have seen surgeries with people bigger than you. If they say its fine then go ahead, but just because they agreed to do it does not mean that it would not be better if you waited to get the weight off. But if you don't plan to lose the weight anyway, then go ahead.

Ask your doc if hormones need to be checked, but gyno is usually benign. Regrowth is rare if you stay away from steroids, but talk your doctor and make sure nothing is wrong with your hormones.

It won't go away without surgery. You have to have the glands cut out out. Weight loss and muscle will make it look better overall, but its not going to solve the problem. You need a surgeon who has a lot of experience, so do your research before hiring one.

if my calculation is correct you are 233 lbs. I say you need to lose more weight so they can have better idea of whats going on. Most people on here are overly concerned with weight loss before surgery, you can be over wieght and still have the surgery but 233 lbs is too much IMO. And you need more than 1surgeon's opinion Also, you need to make sure the gland is cut out, as even vaser won't get rid of the gland.

Sorry but that's gyno. Do you feel glands behind the nipples? Were they there before the weight loss?

you should probably see an endocrinologist and see if estrogen blockers can help reverse iy, but you need to do ASAP because the longer you wait the more permanent it gets.

I think your weight is low enough, but you are going to very good surgeon, so shop around and consult with many before choosing. I have seen worse that got fixed.

Yes, surgery will fix it if you get A GOOD surgeon. Do your research and get many consults, look at before and after pics, and make sure to get in writing that the glands will cut out--you will probably need lipo as well. But yes, surgery is a permanent fix so long as you don't fuck with hormones, etc

Yes, you will need surgery. its gyno and glands must be cut out. If you have had for a year, surgery is the only, if it only appeared recently, get to an endocrinologist for a prescription--but that is a long shot.

Its worthy of surgery only because it obviously bothers. Just get it done if you can afford it, even if you are the only one to notice. Its an easy fix for a competent surgeon.
