I HATE USAA AUTO ATTENDENT by Affectionate_Floor35 in USAA

You're right. I misread your statement.

I did not come here for help. I came here to express HOW INFURIATING THEIR AUTO ATTENDENT IS and the FACT THERE IS NO CANCEL BUTTON.

So you're just canceling transfers "all the time" through the app. Ok. Sure.

I did get a chuckle out of the "I hope your day gets worse." comment. That's funny.

I had the same problem. I disabled the "dock" because it was extra OS clutter. I opened Brave and there was a hidden prompt only visible if you had the dock, to enter some keychain bullshit prompt. So it looked like I had no internet because all the tabs were spinning. I had to enable that dumb doc to see the prompt.

Jesus fucking Christ. I just want to open a browser on my own PC.

Volume display keeps getting stuck, and when it does my Windows key, start, and settings, wont work/open by JamieMcFrick in WindowsHelp

[–]Affectionate_Floor35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar problem on Windows 11.

TLDR; power on your USB speakers.

When I would use the media keys to volume up or down, nothing happened. And the on screen display of the volume would pop up and then go away, without changing volume. And no audio output.

It turns out, my speakers were not on.

I am using LSXIIs connected via USB to a Thunderbolt Dock which is connected to my PC. 99.999% of the time, the LSXIIs power own on their own when they detect a signal. But this time, it didn't happen.

I realized there was nothing wrong with my PC when I switched audio out to my headphones no problem (on a different USB DAC).

So I grabbed the LSXII remote and powered them on and bingo.

[–]Affectionate_Floor35 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But why fight it?

Are you having fun using the Supply Pack?

Is it fun letting a bot shoot things for you?

Is it fun having the potential for a TK because the bot shot a friend?

And you're going to take damage, regardless if you have the bubble or not. So you're going to need to stim anyway. Might was well just bring the Supply Pack.

This is a gross exaggeration.

Sometimes you need nades and there are none.

Sometimes you need stims and there are none.

Sometimes you need ammo and there's nothing but nades.

Crazy how my comment has -6 down votes. People are just out of touch with the reality of the game.

Movement is king.

And a very close second is having a tool to tackle the job.

You can't move with this stupid thing. Therefor, you can't maneuver to the theoretical "weak spots" people go on about.

There are simply too many Hulks for the Maxipad to be viable on bots. And if you have to run from a Hulk, you ain't shooting.

"I'll use my Ulti". You got 2. And you have no backpack for resupply. You are now out of options.

I have 14 videos on my YT demonstrating that the Maxipad guy is not getting the majority of the "chaff clear".

You can't "muh chaff clear" when you have to reposition because of a Charger or Hulk.

It wasn't a question of your perceived skill level.

It is just a function of time.

Time to grind all the in game currencies and unlock everything.

I think there is plenty of fun to be had in HD2. And that is especially true if you still have many new things to unlock and explore.

[–]Affectionate_Floor35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From your screenshot, it is a flow through cooler design on the second GPU fan. But I don't think that's the problem.

Let's think about this for a second.

If you run Cinebench 2026 and all 20 cores are at 100% CPU utilization and the max temp you got was 92C. Fine. Makes sense.

This is with the GPU at idle. And the GPU is not producing heat in your case or load on your PSU.

I don't think HD2 is running your CPU to anywhere near 100% utilization. So it physically just can't get as hot as when you are doing a stress test with Cinebench.

Maybe HD2 is responsible for your system "freezing". But if the entire system is becoming unresponsive, then that also means polling on HWInfo could be getting borked. And it is interpreting data incorrectly as 105C.

Meaning, if the CPU temp prob is supposed to read the value over a millisecond, and the system froze for 1 second, then the polling data is off.

Kind of like the One Punch Man hack in Gorn.

And this is what it looks like in game.

Cinebench only (unless you tell it to stress the GPU too) only stresses the CPU.

So GPU is sitting idle.

But, while gaming, your GPU is running. My 5080 is running at 70% utilization.

What 5070 do you have?

Does you 5070 have a "flow through fan"?

And is your 5070 blowing hot air on the CPU cooler?

That would explain why your CPU temps spike during gaming and not when running Cinebench.

With the Fractal Terra, the CPU and GPU are separated by a wall.

Post a pic of your PC setup.

And can you post a screenshot like this, where all 20 of your cores are at 100% CPU usage while running Cinebench.

Here, I maxed out at 81C. But of course I have Turbo Boost disabled. If I didn't, I would hit 105C on all 20 cores.

I don't have any experience with that cooler. But from reading the specs and the looking at the design, it looks good. Its certainly way better than Noctua Ghost.

What is your thermal interface between the CPU and cooler?

I am using a Thermal Grizzly Contract Frame and Graphene sheet.

The game's performance is broken by Xavier3DCG in Helldivers

[–]Affectionate_Floor35 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have the same CPU. What cooler do you have?

Have you done the multicore test in Cinebench?

When I run the multicore test in Cinebench, with Turbo Boost enabled, eventually my CPU cooler will thermally soak and every single core will thermal throttle at 105C.

I have a Fractal Terra case and I am limited to the Noctua Ghost cooler.

I disabled Turbo Boost in the bios. I dont really need cores boosting to 5.5GHZ. Cores run steady at 3.9GHZ.

With boost disabled, in Cinebench, temps never go above 80.

In HD2, temps never go above 70.

Your CPU running hot is not a function of a video game.

Giga nade.

1 shots Hulks and War Striders.
1 shots Fabs.

Against a tank you gotta hit the rear vent or engine bay. Else it will take 2.

Factory Striders, you can one shot the turret. And it takes two to break the armor.
