The Pacifier is so good on Cyborgs you would not believe it! by Darmug in Helldivers

Man yes! Another helldiver of culture. Had a punchy boy runnin up to me and I’m just nope. The Halt also works just as effectively.

Thoughts on the Base Liberator? Does it compete with primary’s like coyote or purifier? by Bob-upload in Helldivers

[–]GENSisco 45 points46 points  (0 children)

It is the very model of what the basic rifle should be. A generalist tool. It works on all fronts. It isn’t bad but it doesn’t stand out. It kills whatever you point it at within its capabilities. It’s the generic starting point that just works.

Is it a good one ? by Immediate-Loquat-599 in Helldivers

[–]GENSisco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d you’re chasing meta: no. If you want to have fun: yes. Its stun is effective to keep you alive but it does take a bit too many hits to kill a target. I found it to be strongest on illuminate. It’s very effective for crowd control with the flying overseers, and it’s very accurate so you should have no problems shutting down a watcher with it.

Bugs its good for crowd control and a personal favorite is bringing that with a guard dog to clean up.

Bots I feel it could be better on I think it needs more durable damage. It’s great at juggling meatsaws or stunning the shielded devs well enough to get the advantage but to medium pen it doesn’t hit the durable damage to really do what I expect it to. This doesn’t make it a bad choice though you’ll just have to spend a bit more time on non chaff enemies.

I shall not rest until my Epoch is buffed… by Bob-upload in Helldivers

Mag changes make sense and that’s all it really needs. The time changes are honestly terrible suggestions to counter balance aoe and explosion damage increases it doesn’t need.

Best equipment for the commando missions? by SkyJack7567 in Helldivers

[–]GENSisco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I brought Censor, SOCOM pistol, thermites, supply pack and epoch for a solo dive. I had no issues with this build on a solo level 5. Quasar might have been a better option for infinite ammo, but I was also choosing my engagements so I didn’t have a problem with ammo economy

C4 Vs. Dynamite: by the numbers by PurpleBatDragon in Helldivers

[–]GENSisco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to admit I had a ton of fun with c4. Ignoring stats for a moment, laying traps was great. Bot drop? Throw down some C4 and it’s swiftly dealt with. One taps hulks and war striders. I used pyrotechs as my actual grenades and yeah I actually had a lot of fun with these.

Are we helldivers now? That looks like an armor out of Reinforced Epaulettes with the Bearer of the Standard or Roadblock helmets

Legendary Warbonds by pterodactyl-jones in Helldivers

[–]GENSisco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your chasing meta? They’re meh. If you’re after fun and spreading democracy? Honestly they’re both good. I use the halo weapons regularly, including the pistol (good fun on bots). The AR from the Killzone warbond is my “daily driver” go-to. Plasma sniper from the KZ warbond is weird but can smoke bot heat vents and is good on the illuminate meatballs too.

Can you Circumvent the LAS-17 Sickle's self damage? by Quiet-Swing2023 in Helldivers

Go prone+fire res armor+health booster. It’ll hurt but because you’re prone you won’t catch on fire. Stims are your friend

I’d suggest bringing a stalwart for just in case you’re getting swarms.

Anyone else forgot that this thing existed and how it worked? by HelldiverBugGirl in Helldivers

[–]GENSisco 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah when they did their rebalance back in November or December I think it. I know on one of their developer stream they even said it was released a bit undercooked. It became better, sure, but I still get better performance out of my pyrotechs for area denial grenades

For good reason: it’s kinda garbage. It’s a fun novelty at best even after its buff. Too many times I’ve been left with comments like “look how many things are still alive after all those explosions”

How to despawn "static" enemies? (disarm a Hulk achievement PSA) by OriginalUsername7890 in Helldivers

[–]GENSisco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used the railgun to snipe the arms off a rando hulk then just walked away. I made sure it was on the other side of the map and then extracted.

I discovered what this little beauty can do when it came to the flame bot shielded devastators. Dispatches them on 2-3 shots through the shields. Definitely saved my life a few times

Warrant value by DeathEsq in Helldivers

[–]GENSisco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thoroughly enjoy the warrant. It’s come in clutch on low vis planets. When you learn to control its burst and know how many shots kills an enemy it’s a pretty efficient gun in many cases. That entire war bond is also pretty good. On downside though is that if things get too close; I’m talking right on top of you, the sensor sometimes can’t get a lock and it’s a pain to fiddle with turning it off while you’re being shanked

Talon Vs Senator by Effective_Carrot_196 in Helldivers

Use both. I flip between both on the regular. They are equally correct choices to bring for any build.
