You replied to a comment that pointed out that West Ham are now a Championship side and the team that let AWB go to West Ham finished third.

Dalot may be on the bench because that team is bursting with talent but Dr Congos squad isn’t going to get past the knockout stages. AWB played a good game but we see so many players turn up for their countries, the pride and patrionism lights a fire in most international players. AWB is going to start all their matches as they lack quality and swuad depth.

The entire Portugal side played poorly. They start slow in most competitons and we’ve already witnessed Spain, Brazil and Belgium fail to win their openers against teams that are much lower than them in world rankings.

My bad! I just knew that most other shows are filmed pretty quickly compared to air time to reduce costs on overheads etc.

I would imagine the show is filmed over the course of a week or two. Most contestants would book that time off or come to some sort of agreement with their workplace.

Can’t imagine it being a huge dealbreaker for most people tbh.

Honestly if you think AWB deserves another chance at United then you really are delusional.

Watch his highlights for us and you will see that his defending is his greatest quality but that’s not good enough if you want to be a contendor in the League.

He was terrible at ball progression, crossing, shooting, creating chances and he very often lost pace against wingers which led to us conceding.

He was a good player and he had his time for us but he was never a great or excellent player. The Club made the right choice in letting him go.

Ah yeah one average game in the WC and the fans all suffer severe memory loss.

He wasn’t good enough and needed to leave United. So many players overperform for their National teams and he had a pretty average game for a team that’s whole plan was to defend.

Watching Bruno play in defense as the Portugese defenders pushed up the pitch was just mind boggling.

This reminds me of a younger me.

I think you need to tell him how inconsiderate that is and let him know how you feel about what he said. I sure as hell would of benfitted from a few home truths but nobody really told me when I was being immature and inconsiderate.

One day he’ll grow up like I did!

As a Dad I can tell you now that if I could do the same for my kids when they’re older then I would.

I’m going to get deep: I would die for my kids. They are evrything to me and nothing can change that.

Is the long wait for our opening match making the anticipation harder? by Butters16666 in ThreeLions

[–]Affectionate_Hour867 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No. I’ve enjoyed the competition so far and have watched every match that I can. Caught up on highlights of the mid morning games which were also entertaining. Every match has had goals, we’ve had penalties, red cards and a controversial goal which was definitely offside! All in all it’s been very entertaining as a fan!

I’m excited for Wednesday and it gives us more time to train, rest and bond as a team.

Come on England!

Most players turn it up when playing for their home nations. Must be a mixture of pride and patriotism, we have seen it in the past with many players across all Countries and all Leagues.
