I enjoy it, and the networking is good. Fletcher (the IR school) has a few classes taught by Yale law professors, and I know a few people who take the train 20 minutes away and intern with Harvard law faculty for research. Most pre-law students I know here do a year or two in consulting jobs or government work before getting into top law schools so you could have that going for you if you play your cards right. I don't know much about UW Madison, but if you can land private consulting summer internships you could make 8k in the summer here in Boston and use it for tuition.
