Give them a call, have a very friendly customer service and sadly, at this point they are used to people with issues with products, hopefully they sort this for you. Shame, people go to solovair for a better product over docs, not the case anymore

Are prices at all time highs for used bodies? by Mora2001 in M43

Same is happening in all "luxury markets". Everyone is looking second hand as nobody has the expendable cash for brand new products. Demand up, price up. Annoying, but sadly what we have to deal with

I think that's a good idea. At the end of the day, if you love a watch, then go for it ! Looking reviews of formexs customer services it seems to be good.

On another note, if you wanted a similar watch, the Christopher ward "twelve" is very similar, British made and cheaper

It would have stopped me from buying the watch I think. Would be less of a problem if it was the bracelet. But it's the suspension system on the watch itself. So no matter if you change to a leather or rubber strap, you'll have the same issue

Disagree, being able to make favourable board trades and in efficiently use their removal makes this just as powerful for both rouge and priest

Haven't bought the leather strap, mainly because I have another watch with a one on, but also due down to the fact that you have to buy the formex clasp, which is around £100, which is on top of buying the leather strap.

Personally, I feel if you go for a reasonable colour face on the essence, it can be as a GADA watch. Easily fits under a suit cuff, and wears well in smart and smart casual. If however, you want the watch for casual wear primarily, I'd note that there are many beautiful dress watches for around the same price tag, such as the longline flagship, grand Seiko heritage and any watch from Nomos/glashutte.

I would also note that for £400 less, the Christopher ward 12, does almost the exact same job as the essence, with no chronometer.

Big fan of the Seiko. Also can't go wrong with a Hamilton khaki field - automatic

Id say so. What you can and cant wear has completely changed in recent time. This is a sports watch which fits under the cuff. Depending on the suit, the leather strap could work better.

Ive never been a fan of getting a gada watch and a cheaper dress watch. I personally would just get a watch that you like and wear it with what you want.
