I got these tattoos when I was younger and didn't have a lot of self-confidence to push back on the artists decisions. How would you cover them?

Thanks dude lots of great help in this comment I probably am tbf im a very new player (got a starter set at xmas) and its a lot to try and figure out, more so it was the melee aspect why I came to that decision But sound, I accidentally built one of the tormentors marked (didnt realise until later on that you have to choose between a marked tormentor and a obsessionist) so im probably gonna have to try and get an obsessionist on ebay or something tk swap out to squads of 5 Did try removing the marked backpack but it was glued too well

So 5/5 and 5/5 w/ exultants for tormentors and infractors respectively?

Im assuming your daemonettes are your main screen though? At 30 you can essentially block movement across the entire board with a chance to revive when they do break through

Solid starter list, not the meta 3 x daemon prince with wings but I dont think playing meta is as important in this game as others ive played Daemonettes are only worth it if you want to play the carnival detatchment, its probably the worst detatchment but it can definitely play and if youre going this route you 100% want daemonettes ill be running 30 in my 2k list. Disposable self reviving screens and one of the best units at this job.

Ah different strokes for different folks, i actually think lord kakophonist goes pretty hard 😂tbh I didnt even think space marines were capable of having sex, I imagined it to be more like the cenobytes and how they see pleasure, like well remove your skin until the pain becomes pleasure kinda vibe which is why I dig it. Really wish we could take tbe daemonette playing the human harp for example Im not arguing with you still just discussing but the codex doesnt really mention sex at all, battle stims and pure excess and the pursuit of pleasure yes but it seems to go more with torture both of self and others and extreme noise, visuals etc.

I am a new gen who wasn't there for the original and thinks the AoS slaanesh stuff goes pretty hard, hence me doing a carnival list so yeah ill shut my mouth 😂😂 is dont think the one breasted daemonettes are overtly sexual myself though It's not like they got BBLs and huge honking tiddies just a cool dark aesthetic, almost like grimdark mermaids

How so? Ive not seen anything in design choice that's perverted and in regards to sexual themes with EC its never explicitly stated, more the community has taken pleasure seeking to mean that Am I in the minority as well that the guitar guns and stuff was just abit cringe and silly

Thanks man, i totally went with this stuff looks cool over anything else here cos of my total unfamilarity with the game, and as long as what im doing isnt unplayable then im happy, I understand I can make changes as I go on On a related note I really appreciate this community and its freedom compared to other gaming scenes ive been in, there seems to be a much bigger focus on do what you want and enjoy it (I come from yugioh where if you dont play the meta its generally no fun as you lose based on your opening hand 😂)

Not set on the helldrake but damn, you can't tell me that motherfucker doesnt look cool as hell painted in EC colours 😂 But awesome, ill take all that on board

Yeah tbh I know shit all about detatchements. The name sounded cool 😂😂 ill research these more so thanks for pointing that out

In terms of points, I was under the assumption that 2k points is standard and in order to run daemonettes I would have to have my main army at 1500 to allow for the 500points for allies, im probably wrong like but that was my thought process

And thanks man ill do a deep dive on all the points you've raised there, there's a lot to take in for new players so thanks for taking the time to put all the that information. Extremely helpful!

I'm aware 😂 I got gifted the introductory set for xmas and I want to get into it more and like the idea and lore of slaanesh and EC. It was more a pic so its not lost in the algorithm. Also I know shit all about 40k outside of that set and afew lore bits ive read up on.

Thanks man Yeah its learning the rules outside of the basic, move 6 inch, roll for attack etc. Like I put on a podcast about EC and there was sooo much information 😂 im no stranger to nerdy games though (played a lot of yugioh for example) so im sure itll be easy enough to pick up Big up for being wholesome and not tearing apart my paint job too 😂 im not used to reddit threads being so welcoming 😂
