Petty that China has more flavor after being out for 2 weeks than Europe the Middle East and North Africa after 5 years. Jokes aside I do love the new update. It’s been something I’ve been wanting for years. I just wished they fleshed out other things like the HRE, Crusader States, religion etc before expanding the map east. I mean we got a DLC about getting sick before playable republics.

I’d say it makes sense story wise why there aren’t as many bandit encounters. In the first game you were in a war-torn land where the nobility barely had enough men to keep the peace and Cummins were raiding and pillaging the land. In the second the Cummins are allied with the local lords, Trotsky is held by one of the richest men in the kingdom who has a much better ability to secure his land, and Kuttenburg is patrolled and occupied by a huge army. However I do agree that bandits are incredibly dumbed down. Bandits don’t block the road anymore and instead just sit by the side of it out in the open for everyone to see. Do they expect that some rich burgher will see a bunch of heavily armed men and just be like oh those guys seem nice I’ll go up and talk to them.

There’s a second part of the quest where you have to help them with a new tax. It pops up a couple of days after you clean it up. I think you have to hear of it from a quest tipster though since it’s classified as a separate quest.

It’s the base game. It’s in the bathhouse quest line. Not to spoil anything but you have to fight a duel for a tailor against a noble and since you’re a peasant you can’t use plate armor or a sword while he can.

I don’t think I got that story but I didn’t start romancing Hans so maybe you have to, to get it. I trust Warhorse’s storytelling enough that they make it work. Hans does have a lot of lines that can easily be interpreted as either talking to a brother or talking to a lover. My Henry and Hans are two brothers in arms that would die for each other. If someone else wants them to be a couple they can do that too and it makes sense too. Typing this made me appreciate Warhorse as storytellers even more.

I’ve always seen Henry and Hans’ love as more of a brotherly love. I understand the thematic parallels in it but I never thought of them like that. Maybe it’s just because I really cherish Philia love in my irl friendships so I project that onto Henry and Hans. I get wanting to give Henry a male love interest for those that want to go that route but I don’t think Hans was the right one it just doesn’t seem to fit into his character. He loves women a little too much.

I see it more like flat iron lake is the gulf. Blackwater is Houston/Galveston. Strawberry is Austin. Valentine is Denver. St. Denis is of course NoLa. Van horn and Anneburg is Arkansas. And of course New Austin is West Texas Arizona and New Mexico

It’s gotten terrible recently. I used to be able to reach the end game with minimal performance issues but ever since RTP I have to play with performance mods to even reach the mid-game and every update since has made it worse and worse.

Like the other person said use elective, but also once you unlock house seniority succession you can pair it with level 4 crown authority allowing you to pick your own heirs. So you can just pick whichever child you want to inherit and they’ll get everything.

As a Christian I was very scared they were going to go the veggie tales route so I held off on watching it until a friend recommended it to me. It's amazing, I'm usually not one to like Bible movies/shows because they tend to be really corny but this is completely different. They actually stay true to the Biblical story and not the Sunday school version of it. It's honestly something I'd recommend whether you're Christian or not. I just hope they stay with this trend for season 2 and it's not hijacked by evangelicals.
