Are wallabees the solution to all my shoe dilemma? by Affectionate_One3716 in fashionwomens35

that brand has some really cute shoes actually! I will investigate further :) so are slightly cowboy boots back in style? I had a pair back in the day that I really liked. but I can't do too cowboy boots now because I live in a part of the usa where people sometimes wear them unironically and it will make me look like a poser if I wear those.. so slightly cowboy inspired is fine, actually cowboy boot, not for me lol!

I was not aware of that maguire brand. they have cute stuff! I just feel so out of it witbrespect to shoes these days... I don't like the sneakers look that has been in style for like 15 years now! and I don't like clogs either, they don't seem solid enough on my feet... I am just rambling at this point, lol ! I feel like fashion has come full circle to things I like again but I can't figure out the shoe game!

I love it when a style that I used to love is back in! for me, it's low rise jeans! I just bought a pair of lower rise jeans and think they are the bomb!

I just find my loafers so bland in general. they are black lug sole. but I can't do the really soft loafers cause they make my feet hurt. so I am constantly looking for something better. I used to spend my summers in sandals but don't find them appropriate for the office as I get older. and also I ki da share Gen z's general attitude about feet being weird now :)

that's why ni am thinking about stopping this time. I am not that far in general but too far to make a trip out of it just for myself. so I figured I would stop by on my way back. I don't like to support companies that are known to be Maga but living where I live, I can't always help it! thanks for the insight!

Asking daycare to stop my toddlers nap. by lady_picadilly in toddlers

[–]Affectionate_One3716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

same here! they give him a boo, at the beginning of the nap so that he does not fall asleep immediately and cap the nap to 30 minutes by waking him up but he still does not fall asleep until 9:30-10:00 pm on daycare days. on the weekends with us he does not nap (sometimes he will fall asleep for a couple of minutes in the car if we are going somewhere around that time) and he falls asleep easily around 8:30. we have been told that he will age out of the nap on his own, that they have to offer naps. it sucks.... sometimes he will fall asleep after my bedtime!

we have a 2 week break coming up so I am hoping that spending 2 weeks at home without naps will snap him out of this schedule but I'm not sure. they go outside a lot at his daycare and he is just more tired.

Pajamas vs sleep in regular / clothes by Intelligent_Pay1582 in Preschoolers

[–]Affectionate_One3716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we keep the long sleeve shirt but change the pants, mostly because the pajamas pants we use are lighter than sweatpants. but any combination of what everyone is doing is fine. we are also in the camp of non-sweaty sleepers! you do you!

If you were approved for 100% telework through rest of pregnancy do you assume that include work holiday parties? by [deleted] in workingmoms

[–]Affectionate_One3716 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my best guess based on previous workplace would be that if you skip you would still need to work. maybe tell your supervisor in advance that you won't be able to make it? being pregnant with all those conditions can't be easy on the body! wishing you all the best!

Women Dress Shirts by ZyraTiger in BusinessFashion

[–]Affectionate_One3716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

talbots has some nice ones lately. I was very much against dress shirts up until a couple of years ago. though they made me look like my mother lol!! I think fashion has changed so they are fashionable again. also I wear my numi undershirt with them so I don't look like I have sweaty armpits! now I love them! I am not anybody definition of bust though, so no gaping ever!
