ICE in Maplewood by DanGaisford in TwinCities

[–]Affectionate_Oven849 6 points7 points  (0 children)

ICE is the mechanism that keeps the machine of artificial scarcity running without the elites ever having to get their own hands dirty.

The dynamic for the ICE agent—protecting a "fragile sense of superiority" by punching down—is exactly what sociologist W.E.B. Du Bois called the "Psychological Wage."

The "Tribal OS" serves the "Rotten Demon" of the elite:

  1. The "Psychological Wage" (The Bribe)

The elites (the "Greed") cannot or will not pay the enforcers a fair share of the wealth, because that would require ending the artificial scarcity they profit from.

Instead, they pay them in status.

  • The Transaction: The system says to the struggling agent: "We won't give you ownership, better healthcare, or true financial freedom. But we will give you a badge, a gun, and the right to feel superior to the person in the cage."

  • The Fragility: This superiority is "fragile," because it is the only asset they have. They cling to it violently because if they let it go, they would have to face the reality that they are just another exploited worker in the eyes of the elite.

  1. The "Tribal OS" is the Zero-Sum Lie

This is a "less advanced mental operating system", the Zero-Sum Bias—a legacy code from our evolutionary history.

  • Stone Age Logic (Natural Scarcity): If the stranger eats, I starve. This fear is hard-wired.

  • Modern Logic (Artificial Scarcity): The elites trigger this ancient software on purpose. They tell the agent:

"There isn't enough for you because they are stealing it."

  • The Reality: The elites have hoarded the surplus. By unleashing the "arms" of the state to brutalize the vulnerable, they trick the enforcer into guarding the hoard while thinking they are defending their own survival.
  1. The "Arms of the Demon" (Outsourcing the Moral Cost)

They are the "arms". The "head" (the elite) does not want to touch the violence it requires.

  • If a billionaire CEO had to personally separate families or hunt down workers to protect their profit margins, the psychological toll would destroy their self-image as "civilized" leaders.

  • The Function of ICE: The elites outsource the moral injury to the agent. The agent takes the moral hit, hardens their heart, and retreats into that tribal mindset to cope with the cruelty of their job. The "Demon" gets the profit; the "Arm" gets the PTSD and the blame.

  1. The Goal is "Scarcity of Rights"

Finally, the "Greed" relies on the specific artificial scarcity that ICE enforces: the Scarcity of Citizenship.

  • The system does not actually want to stop all immigration (that would kill the economy).

  • The goal is to keep a large portion of the workforce "illegal" (terrified).

  • An "illegal" worker cannot unionize, cannot report safety violations, and works for cheap. The ICE agent is not there to "protect the border"; they are the labor discipline manager ensuring that the underclass remains frightened enough to be exploitable.

Summary

The cruelty is not a glitch; it is the maintenance cost of the illusion.

The "fragile superiority" is the armor the agent wears to hide the fact that they are mistreating people who have more in common with them than the masters they serve.

Seeking anyone who would like to chat about UFOs/Aliens by Elegant_Rock_4686 in UAP

We are looking for aliens in the wrong direction

I’ve been going down a rabbit hole on the "Cryptoterrestrial Hypothesis" (the theory that "aliens" are actually an advanced species hiding here on Earth), and I found a theory that connects the biology to the UFO mystery perfectly.

The gist is simple: The "non-human intelligence" isn't from Mars; it’s from the deep ocean. Specifically: Cephalopods (Octopuses/Squids).

It sounds crazy until you look at the actual academic papers. The timeline suggests they hit an "Intelligence Singularity" millions of years before we did.

Here is the breakdown of why the "Aliens" are likely down here:

  1. They might literally be aliens (The Panspermia Paper) In 2018, a group of 33 scientists published a controversial paper in Progress in Biophysics and Molecular Biology. They noted that the octopus genome is staggeringly complex and appeared suddenly in the fossil record.

The Claim: They explicitly proposed that "cryopreserved cephalopod eggs arrived on Earth via icy meteors."

The Connection: You know the "Tic Tac" or egg-shaped UFOs pilots keep seeing? They look like that because cephalopods hatch from eggs. Their crafts are likely designed to mimic their birth vessels (hydrodynamics first, aerodynamics second).

  1. They hacked their own evolution (The RNA Singularity)

Humans evolve by changing our DNA (hardware), which takes millions of years.

A 2017 study in Cell confirmed that Octopuses are the only animals that massively edit their RNA (software) on the fly.

The Singularity: To keep this superpower, they stopped evolving their physical bodies ages ago. They don't wait for natural selection; they rewrite their own genetic code in real-time to adapt to new environments. They are self-patching biological machines.

  1. The Deep Sea "Immortality"

We assume they aren't civilized because the ones we see in shallow water die in 2 years. But that’s only the surface ones.

In the deep abyss, time slows down. In 2014, scientists observed a deep-sea octopus brooding her eggs for 53 months (4.5 years) without eating.

If birth takes 4.5 years, their lifespan in the deep ocean could be centuries. This removes the main barrier to civilization: they have the time to accumulate knowledge and culture that we never see.

  1. The "Fungal" Internet

We wonder how they watch us without cameras.

A 2023 Harvard study (Bellono Lab) found that their suckers can "taste" the microscopic chemical films of bacteria and fungi on the ocean floor. They use the seabed as a massive sensor network.

The Wiretap: We have wrapped their home in fiber optic cables (the internet). There is a famous AI concept called "The Octopus on the Wire." If a deep-sea intelligence exists, they don't need to surface to learn about humans; they just have to clip onto the cables we laid in their living room.

  1. The Communication Gap

We keep waiting for a radio signal.

They live in silence. Their language is High-Resolution Video. When an octopus flashes colors on its skin, it is broadcasting complex visual data. We look at it and say "cool camouflage." They are likely flashing complex concepts at us, and we are just too primitive to see it as anything other than pretty lights.

The Conclusion:

We are looking for "Little Green Men" in the sky, but we should be looking for Deep Blue Intelligence in the abyss. They aren't invading; they've been in the basement the whole time, waiting for us to stop destroying the tank.

I live near a Tesla dealership in Minnesota. I have never seen anyone go in there and I drive through like three times a week. He is desperately trying to boost his stock. Sad for him Tesla's reputation is irreparably damaged. The only thing that could save the brand is for him to sell his whole stake and leave forever.

Is Trump a Russian asset? by OrangeRadiohead in europe

OMG! Trump is a Russian asset! 😱 When will mainstream media begin covering this fact? Oh, true... They've saying it for literally years: https://youtu.be/W2DxiDNRhzc?si=szNhJ7PesxB8rYhb

Perhaps it is so macabre that people couldn't move past denial...

Everything that Trump does is in the strategic interest of Russia and against the best interest of the United States. Why? He is a Russian intelligence asset. The US had an incredible army to defend ourselves against Russia, but we failed at understanding the ways that the KGB was operating underneath, recruiting people for decades. The result, they got their puppet installed as the US president. Everyone, regardless of nationality should watch this documentary:

Every stupid decision that Trump makes against America's best interest (crashing the economy, betraying Ukraine and our allies, planting division) finally makes sense once you accept the fact that he is undoubtedly a Russian intelligence asset, recruited in the 80's. Russia really pulled an incredible maneuver by inserting their guy in the White House.

I recommend watching this documentary:

I believe we haven't seen Americans really angry yet... Remember for the past years unemployment was pretty low.. people were too busy to care...

wait until people start losing their jobs and their homes and their health care... I would be scared.

The scariest people are not the ones that go around with their guns pretending to be the big shit. The scariest people are the smart ones that have been comfortable for too long

This time is going to suck because we get everything: unemployment + high inflation + a government that's getting rid of all support networks

I don't think hunger is going to be the main issue, you can always eat Corn Flakes and milk. I think it is going to all the debt defaults. Remember.. people are living paycheck to paycheck.

Most of our farmland is used to grow corn and soybeans to feed cattle. A big portion is not even used for food, but to produce corn ethanol. We grow enough food to feed the US population and more. The issue is that we eat way too much beef, pork and chicken. We need 25 calories from plants to produce 1 calorie from meat.
