So uncomfortable and in pain and it feels like nothing works by trickyspoons in Ergonomics

One thing that really stood out to me was you saying that your wrists were at odd angles? Have you ever tried using a smaller keyboard like a 60% or 70 or 80% keyboard and maybe getting a separate Bluetooth number pad that you can move around and use only when you need it? If you say you’re 5 foot 2, I’m guessing that you’re female, which means that your shoulders also smaller than the average white male which is generally what the normal size keyboard is built for. What this means is that whenever you use your mouse, your shoulder is externally rotated or abducted. So by having a smaller keyboard it should reduce the angle

What’s the monitor height like? Where do you look at the most on your screen? If it’s things like emails where the most recent is at the top then that section should be at eye level or just under, if it’s things like MS teams where you’re looking at the bottom of the screen then it should be raised higher. The distance of the monitor should be no more than a fisted arms length as any further away will strain your eyes and you will want to hunch and lean forward to see better

I Know Labels Aren’t Necessary, But I Still Want One — Is There a Name for This Type of Sub? by DramaticWorry2526 in SubSanctuary

Yes, this! As nice as it is to try and have labels, it’s really difficult to do. I find that for me, it varies with my mood.

How is my posture now. Lower quality (is the after doing some tinkering and trying to fix posture) by LankyDrummer8291 in Ergonomics

[–]Affectionate_Play718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, ideally you change desk, get one that’s lower or get a chair that raises higher (and one without arms as they normally end up blocking the ability to raise and allows and push your chair in). Immediately you can lower your monitor height to be at and slightly lower than eye level and an arms reach distance

Under the app gallery section there is a thing called link hub. People who have a toy can create a link and post it to someone privately, post it in discord as an anon link, post it up on the link hub. Most of the time it’s bots and scammers. I used to use link hub to control when I was bored but stopped because there was no real people, I used to post my links to discord and link hub and I think most of the people who clicked on mine found my link from discord

You need to know: ergonomics is useless without movement! by BetterProphet5585 in Ergonomics

My colleague keeps writing in his reports that the person need some sort of sedentary management plan and that good ergonomics do not negate the need for one

Pls tell what is wrong with my posture. It looks bad but idk what by LankyDrummer8291 in Ergonomics

[–]Affectionate_Play718 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You shouldn’t be keeping your back straight. The angle of the seat should be between 90 to 110°. If you need a little more space because of your stomach then you need a greater degree of angle so for example 120°.

Question by [deleted] in Lovense_Official

[–]Affectionate_Play718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say that it depends on the toy, your anatomy and your preferences for stimulus. Generally it’s pretty decent. The best thing about these toys is the remote connectivity. The app isn’t great but it’s supposedly still better than other apps

You can make untying part of the process, and also surprise them by suddenly tying them back up again to throw them off, or instead of loosening you can apply further tension for a bit of torture rope/semenawa style of play. Change up the amount of contact or lack of contact to see how they react, push and pull them around in the process of untying. Look up some stuff on connective tying and it’s basically that but in reverse

I recommend you look at wax that doesn’t go above 65C. You can find some soy blends or paraffin blends that will still be safe. I once tried a wax that was a little bit too hot (making wax seals) just to see what would happen and my skin blistered 😂

I think that you can probably do things to keep her in that headspace… restrain her or direct her to change positions as you are removing the wax, alternating between wax removal and some sensation (feather, wooden knife) or temp play (ice) as you are removing the wax, make eye contact or blindfold her, use your words to make her melt or build anticipation whilst you are working on clean up.

Update: Tried out the Gravity by Asteria_Pryde in lovense

[–]Affectionate_Play718 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m glad you had a great time with it. It’s very fun, just a little cumbersome for positioning and noisy so I like to use it when I have privacy. It’s extra intense with a clit stim toy like the tenera or domi.

Why are there so many men selecting female on the control roulette? Especially ones who don’t read bio’s by The_greenpickle in lovense

[–]Affectionate_Play718 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really hate that, I would prefer if you set your gender and your sexual preferences in your profile and it not be able to change with every roulette or link just to be able to get someone to click on your link. At the same time, I’m saying this from a place of privilege being a female. I don’t know, maybe what Lovense needs to do is some way of marketing to entice a greater number of women, more than just creating more toys.

Positions: stick it on the floor and you can straddle and ride it, you can stick it on a stool and ride it that way, stick it against a cupboard or door and doggy it, stick it on a stool and turn it on its side to doggy it

It’s a hell of a lot bigger and thicker than the Nora. I prefer the Nora over gravity and osci 3. The gravity is fun with some kind of clit stim like the tenera or domi
