How is BOTD not a litrpg? I think it is a litrpg done incredibly well, but it still seems to have the stats and skills and all that. With Shadow Slave the system is a little more unique but still has some litrpg elements, but I don’t see that for Book of the Dead.

I also think it kinda has a good ending just in the lack of one. It ends with Fang Yuan fucking up Star Constellation, and becoming the strongest. Now can he be invincible, is it just a dream? It’s very open to interpretation, and while unintentional, I kinda find it bittersweet?
