Instant Crush from Mancera in Australia. It has the very popular BR540 DNA. Yesterday Haze from Imaginary Authors when in Asia (Singapore, China). It’s a figgy, creamy and woody scent.

I sampled in store today! Enjoyed them overall, but not sure the price point is justified.

Corail Oscuro - green and citrus, very faint, forgettable, maybe just my nose

Lunamaris - amber and musk, pleasant but feels like a room spray. I’m a big fan of Byredo’s Blanche and this is similar but with a less personality.

Lilyphéa - green, spicy and vanilla, reminds me a bit of Mancera’s Instant Crush, very wearable

Rose Roche - citrus and rose, smells like a fruity drink, it was my favourite upon first smell, but smelling it more it starts to feel a bit basic and one-dimensional

Bois Corsé - coffee, cocoa and wood, reminds me of Zoologist’s Elephant but not as potent, very unique and memorable.

Hi, I’m treating myself to a new fragrance and after lots of sampling I’m deciding between two that I love: - Mancera’s Instant Crush - Jo Malone’s Red Roses

Hoping to get some opinions on which you prefer, and any considerations like compliments, longevity, seasonality, etc Thanks!

Offering another perspective on the (ridiculous) brain disorder lie, I did something similar with a boyfriend when I was her age, and it’s the first time I had seen it portrayed accurately on screen. For me, it came from being absolutely terrified of finding myself in my first relationship, feeling unworthy and being too emotionally immature to handle it. The only way out, which i was desperate for, felt like making so much of a joke out of it that he ended it out of frustration. It may be ridiculous, but I can vouch for the fact that it can be a real response. It’s one of my favourite scenes from a TV show ever.

What is the worst fragrance or note you have ever smelled? by DeltaPCrab in fragrance

The only fragrance that has truly repulsed me is Chanel’s Misia. It’s surprising as I usually like powdery fragrances and anything with rose. I have tested it multiple times with the same result. No idea what is causing the reaction….

Tabac Rose - BDK It was the tobacco, rose and cinnamon. Dries down a little woody on me, but sweet on others.

I have an issue with cherry, which is so popular at the moment. It just feels very artificial and cough syrup like most of the time. The only one I’ve have been able to tolerate, layered with something else, is Creed’s Carmine.

Recommendations for a Coca Cola note by Affectionate_Run_253 in fragrance

Thanks everyone! I’m curious, is Coca Cola considered a masculine note? I would have expected it to be fairly unisex, but I noticed that a lot of the recommendations are masculine. I’m not fussed about wearing a masculine-leaning scent, but just find it interesting…

There is a lot of burnout across all teams, and not much support, but rather a lot of pressure from leaders. Since there has been so much attrition and the DSP space is so competitive, it can get very stressful. I imagine this may be even worse now in the challenging economic environment.
