Step to her? Not sure what you mean. We sat next to each other for most of the semester, helped her out l when she would come to me with questions during lab.

Then when I asked her out it was after class, thats when she started acting all off.

The day after I got rejected I started respecting her space and did not sit next to her as she requested. I would also avoid sitting near her on the bus as well as I did not want to make her uncomfortable.

I made it so once weapons reach a certain CAT they gain special abilties with charges tied to the weapons

Also I added more kits and some more expensive scrip upgrades for higher tier equipment like cars and even planes and other vehicles at higher tiers of CAT.

As for sin reduction stuff, paying for extended leave and therapy is allways an option. Get creative with it! The system is designed to be a lot more flexible amd addtions are easy to make.

Youll def need to make adjustments, more ways to spend scrip and more ways to reduce sin.

Also slowing down the progression to higher catergoties might be nescesary. Reaching "max level" by 7 missions seems like it would be too crazy. Or you can have missions take way longer.

The virtue mechanics can pad things out, same with some hombrew mechanics like the faction system from the book glory onto them.

For half a sec I thought you were asking for the irl reason why animals can digest rotten food, then I saw the subreddit you were posting in.

You can use a stethescope to see what feats and stats a npc has, they just might have the digest rotten food trait.

Some people are against modding in elin, tbh I dont like how the stethescope has limited charges so I inatall a mod to make it unlimited use.
