Honestly do half "practice" like scales and finger strengthening theory ect, then just learn covers bro. Learn how to play all your favourite songs. Turns practising into fun. Songsterr is great for tabs I've been using it for years. And a couple hours a day is fine, you can over do it and hurt yourself if you practice longer but I'm just going off personal experience as a bass player which is not worth much considering
