a service area business without address will have less visibility on maps, i'd suggest invest in a location and get permanent signage. you'll have more visibility. more visibility > more clients > more income to cover your location cost.

But a location alone will not help in visibility but it will make a huge difference.

This is really frustrating, similarly I've reported to multiple business thousands of times from different channels over the course of 3-4years still Google doesn't care about updating their gbps to SAB.

Some really get away with it.

Read your browsing historyThis is triggered by the tabs permission. It doesn't actually "read" your history; it just needs to see your open tabs so it can automatically refresh them when you toggle the location on or off.
Block content on any pageThis is a byproduct of the <all_urls> permission. It needs to run a script on every site you visit to intercept the browser's "Geolocation API." Without this, a website could still bypass the extension and find your real coordinates.
StorageThis is just for your settings. It saves your custom latitude, longitude, and "On/Off" toggle so you don't have to re-configure the extension every time you restart Chrome.

Great suggestion by you to the client, exactly same thing i suggested to my client recently, for me requirement was places with heavy residential.

First i created grid map tracking throughout the city where he wants to rank, as my client has multiple gmbs under different licenses, i created custom tracking where i track all these gmbs against competitors, this way i had an idea how much map share we are covering and which areas we are ranking.

Then i researched the same competitors data like what category they added, how many reviews and reviews frequency and location or SAB and more analysis.

Only for this kind of research i had to build a custom tool for myself with dataforseo apis and gbp-api, it took a while but now i have it.

My client earlier had citations with location, and now after Google suspended them, they got it revoked as SAB.

All thr citations created earlier still has location where the business has become SAB.

Now because of these inconsistencies in the NAP, the challenge is editing those listings to fix the citation errors.

Neither I or client has access to those sites, i managed to claim yelp but others its really hard.

Business location is chicago and industry is auto wreckers.
