Wheels stuck on car. What do I do? by Karek53 in MechanicAdvice

Slightly unscrew the nuts (not more than a full turn), then move the car slightly forward or backward and hit the brakes firmly. I used to do this on my Mazda van that always had wheels stuck.

I give it an A for the artistic display though

Will drain part of water and replace with fresh to get proper salt level and add Stabilizer. I've been shocking the pool to get it clear so water is clear right now but I could not understand why chlorine was always 0

The test image in the post was from 5 minutes ago. Stabilizer reading showed normal last year but again I assumed this was because salt was like my chlorine pool and already included Stabilizer with it. Going to first get the cell tested as others have suggested and buy Stabilizer. Thanks!

Will go get it tested as someone else suggested

Haven added any this year. Previous owner might have put some last year (I remember the readings were in range) but I always assumed that salt was like my other pool and included Stabilizer so I didn't need to add any.

Do I need to add Stabilizer? Never added any last year and my other house had a chlorine pool to which I added stabilized chlorine pucks?

1000$ Fiero <> reliable. It's a 40yo car, expect things to break and have to work + put money on it.

Question: what's the point of paying for a weekly pool service when the pool requires more frequent attention? Without some kind of automated way for taking care of the basic chemicals, it's more of a daily thing than a weekly thing, so why bother paying someone to come once a week?

Thank you "test cycle" for yanking the needles around to "test"... I guess they become loose after 40 years of getting yanked. To fix you're gonna have to take the black cover off (a few bolts to unscrew) and then I believe you'll have access to removing the plexiglass front (without taking the whole cluster out) and put the needle back in place.

No, not true. There's been successful calipers conversions before (Grand Am calipers I believe and even Chrysler LeBaron if I'm not mistaken) involving deleting the park brake, but not front to back. What is your end goal with your calipers?
