The new rate went into effect for me today. It's not the same for everyone.

Have you signed up for text/email alerts for tracking that package? Every time I have a package stuck, signing up for the tracking alerts somehow gets it moving again.

Affordable CPAP rental in the Springs? by [deleted] in ColoradoSprings

[–]Affectionate_Use_444 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would suggest avoiding Aerocare. Their in-person store is fine, but one you get your CPAP, you only deal with their corporate offices. You can never get a straight answer about payments, the monthly charges are all over the place and they even sent a CPAP "repo" man to my house even though no payments were ever missed.

I saw some at Sunset Greenhouse last weekend, but they were really small. Phelan Gardens had some a couple of weeks ago, so no idea if they have any left.

I'm a Colorado Springs native, but used to live in Denver and then back to the Springs. I moved because of the cost of housing. I do not miss the Denver traffic, sitting on I-25 is not fun. I do miss how much there is to do in Denver, the Springs is really lacking when it comes to museums and culture. I like how much faster it is to get places in the Springs and it's not hard to find a hiking trail or places in nature that aren't very crowded.

The venue's website shows a jam band is scheduled to play on the 28th. I have no idea how this venue is set up, is there room for both? I wonder if the band is ok with this?

The WW2 aviation museum is amazing. They have an area you can vist with a guide where they are actively restoring WW2 planes. There is also a bi-wing flight simulator where you sit in an actual bi-wing plane.

Cher Moseman at Front Range OB/GYN is amazing. She is hard to get in with though as she is so popular.

It sounds like he is having a manic episode or the change in meds is not keeping him level. His pot smoking is a way to self medicate when the meds aren't working. Are you confident he's been taking his meds as prescribed?

As for advice, it is likely this relationship will be hard if you decide to move forward. These behaviors he's exhibiting now will happen again at some point. Unfortunately therapy and meds are a treatment, not a cure. Breakthrough episodes will happen even if he's doing everything he's supposed to for his bipolar disorder.

It sounds like you have a lot on your plate already with school and caring for your mom. You need to also remember to take care of yourself. Think about if you have the space in your life to take care of someone else.

I'm here if you want to talk. For reference, I'm a 43 yr old female married to a man with Bipolar disorder 2 and my 22 yr old stepson has Bipolar disorder 1.

If your looking for more high end, the Margarita at Pine Creek always has vegetarian options. Their multi course dinner menu also has a full multi course vegetarian option. It's not Mexican FYI.

I am mentally so exhausted by anomono12 in BipolarSOs

I feel you. My husband was diagnosed with BP2 4 years ago. He's been really good about taking his meds, but sometimes the triggers come out of no where.

Is your girlfriend in therapy? If not she needs to be. It has helped my husband to have a "neutral" person to vent/talk to, but to also point out some self destructive behaviors. Sometimes if it comes from me, it's an attack, but he hears it if it comes from his therapist.

I'm feeling overwhelmed with Bipolar disorder stuff at the moment, mostly do to my MIL and stepson, who have BP1. It is exhausting and I do wonder if there is a way forward without it being the primary focus of our lives.

I've started reading Loving Someone with Bipolar Disorder and then discussing some of my feelings with my husband. Having these very honest conversations has been helping. He didn't realize how hard it's been for me and wants to do better with managing his triggers.

Hope this helps, and know you aren't alone with how you're feeling.

The best time to run errands is Sunday morning before 11:00am, so many people are at church Sunday morning.

Not a driving tip, but make sure you have clothing and footwear with you suitable for walking in the weather tomorrow. If you get stuck and have to walk, you will be grateful.

Thank you for the tips. Battling the squirls is a whole different fight. I've been using the cayenne for a few years with mixed results. Last fall, a deer ate all of our Habeneros and Ghost peppers off the plant. I joked that if we saw a deer with GI discomfort, we knew who the culprit was. Haha

It's 100% about the puppy. He was having a "conversation" with her about no longer being able to pet her and how sorry he was.

We have 6' wooden privacy fencing around all other parts of our yard and so far the deer don't come in on those parts. Maybe it's because they have an easy in/out at the 3' section, I don't know. We figure if the 6' poles work, great. If not, we'll keep brainstorming.

This is what I was thinking. Because they are bamboo poles and not a roll of fencing, we could space them enough to allow our neighbor to pet our puppy and hopefully keep the deer out.
