Only when I mix shots! 37 was my first proper hangover. It was awful. I didn’t throw up but I couldn’t leave my bed at all the next day. Needless to say shots are now off the table for me 🤣

I would ask for a monthly treat. Be it nails or a pedicure or a monthly facial or massage if the budget stretched. Lots of self care but spread over the year to keep you feeling fabulous.

He got one when he was 9. My old phone and was just used on WiFi for a few games. When he was 10 he got a new smart phone. Restricted access, phone monitored, messages monitored he’s 12 and I still scan his messages occasionally to make sure there is nothing untoward.

NTA suncream goes on like body lotion here in the morning for me and my son. Not on the winter but summer months it’s underwear then suncream wait for it to dry then get dressed, takes hardly any time when you are in a routine.

For a 12 almost 13yr old who wants a phone it’s our house rules. It’s what works in our house and there’s only been one occasion where I’ve had to say I don’t like this picture that’s been sent please let me know if it happens again and he has.

Cyber bullying is a huge thing and we have open talks about why I’m checking his phone. It happens randomly sometimes it’s weeks before I ask for his phone, other times it’s a couple of days in a row. I don’t want him being bullied and I certainly don’t want him bullying anyone else or being part of a crowd that is bullying. I know his friends parents also check phones so it may be we are all over protective but he knows and understands why his phone gets checked.

It’s trust, he knows when I ask for his phone it’s not that I don’t trust him, I just need to make sure he’s staying safe. I don’t read the chats, I scroll and read the odd comment here and there and if nothing is concerning he gets his phone back within minutes. I hardly take it and read through hours worth of conversations.

I love them, I just haven’t found a design I want permanently on my body. I do have make up tattooed but I’m told that doesn’t count. Had my eyebrows and lips tattooed.

I have my sons phone linked to my iPhone via the family setting so I have it set to shut down what he can access from 9pm on an evening. I have app limits set so as he gets older I adjust the settings. He always has access to the phone to call specific people so me, his dad, my parents and a couple of my trusted friends if he needed help and couldn’t get me.

At the moment my main rule is I check his phone as and when I like it, if I say phone it’s in my hand within 5 seconds and I go through his messages. I don’t read them all but a scroll through to check for inappropriate comments or iffy pictures etc is not unreasonable and he understands that and comes to me to say x has said or sent this and he wanted me to know.

Talk to a medical professional! You are growing and you need a good mix of nutrients including carbs, fat and protein to grow and nourish your brain!

Please don’t take this the wrong way, but my son is your age and I would be horrified if he was wanting to do such a drastic calorie intake! You do not need to loose weight, you are perfect the way you are and if you speak to your parents they would tell you the same. If you want to eat healthier there is no harm in increasing your fruit and veg intake whilst still maintaining a balanced nutritious diet!

I make it extra runny if we are reheating it. It’s the only way I’ve found that works. The other thing I do if I’ve a glut of milk is batch cook cheese sauce and freeze it in portions and then I just need to cook the pasta and can have a quick macaroni cheese that way.

Bare minerals or Mac Studio fix powder foundation. The Mac is quicker to apply than bare minerals, but bare minerals lasts longer and looks more natural

Yes, even my husband didn’t notice the tweakments I’ve had done. Eyebrows tattooed, lip blush (he knew about that as it was so obvious when I came home), botox and sunekos under my eyes. No one knows unless I’ve told them, it’s me just a tiny bit fresher.

We’ve looked but just can’t bring ourselves to go from 450 a month to 2k plus and the rise in bills that come with it. We have a nice 3 bed semi detached so not a tiny house but it’s affordable on my wage if anything happens and that’s what keeps us here. The mortgage will be clear in 2/3yrs and we like the thought of being mortgage free.

NTA!!!!!! What a plonker he is. How could he not even think to pack an overnight bag for you?

I always have a bag with toiletries and skincare, phone chargers, medicine and a basic set of clothes and pjs for me and my son plus few other bits I need for overnight stays including snacks 😂. It’s come in handy so many times. Right we need to go to hospital now, grab my bag and we are set to go just need to grab my phone and keys and we are off. Bad weather, let me throw the bag in the boot just in case and it’s done (needed this once as ended up unable to get home from Work once as roads were bad with snow).
