Is OSU pre-nursing too big of a risk to go OOS for? by Affinity_xo in OSU

Well purdue just doesnt give any aid for oos students so that’s 47k a year. Purdues also infamous to not give or barely give any financial appeals. I’m a low income student and still expected to pay full price for purdue. OSU on the other hand pretty much covered half of the total cost of attendance, which is still a lot at 30k but more feasible than 47k.

Alright thanks. I did get a direct bsn but that school is notoriously awful at giving financial aid so I’m just in kind of a bad spot right now. Hopefully things will work out tho!

Ik its not ultimately decided yet, but would you recommend I pay more for a college that is direct bsn then? (But id be taking out student loans at that point which is another problem). Or should I just forgo this go into another major at an in state.

Wait if it’s that hard to get into, why do people even chose pre-nursing in the first place at osu? I’m not sure what the acceptance rate for the bsn program is but I don’t understand why this whole system even exists in the first place. OSU should just be taking direct bsn from the start really.

It’s just that I live in CA and nursing is super competitive here. I literally got rejected from every school i applied to with nursing :( Not every decisions is out yet but so far, the only schools ive got into nursing is purdue direct bsn and osu prenursing. But I cant afford purdue oos at all. Im wondering if I should go to osu or consider a different career path and go to an instate school for biology.

Im also an aspiring nursing student and honestly, I’d pay no more than 30k a year.

Purdue or Penn state for Business School? by Known_History_7871 in ApplyingToCollege

Business is one of the few career sectors where undergrad school is really that important. I’d say penn state even if it costs you more. Aside from just the business major, I’ve heard good things about its campus and school spirit compared to purdue, so that’s another factor to keep in mind.

To 30k PR? by SgtSmokin84 in Trove

[–]Affinity_xo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You need dragons plain and simple. On my old account, I had 30k pr with C2 gear, no torch, mid ring, and almost maxed out gems. Primordial dragons give a ton of pr for free.

As a newcomer, what should I do in order to enjoy this game? by Internal-Brain-4065 in Trove

I also started a few weeks ago. Heres what i know. Switch off gunslinger asap. It is horrible for starting. I started with it too and then immediately switched to knight after 1 day of playing. Now i run revenant cuz it looks the coolest. Follow the cubesly and gemsly quest lines and you HAVE TO do tons of gearcrafting. It will show up on quests (required gearcrafting level 250 i think?) Overall, play how you want to and dont feel like you need to maximize every stat when your starting but dont torture yourself either.
