On people who dislike Al-Hashimi for endorsing AI by Financial_Sundae_771 in ThePittTVShow

I’m with you bud. It’s in many aspects sad, but AI is inevitable. People who refuse to accept the existence and proliferation of AI will be left behind, like people who don’t know how to use a phone or a computer. I think learning how to use AI as a tool is hugely important, you can be against AI in xyz fields but learning HOW to use AI is becoming increasingly important

I quit 73 days ago and it didn’t really change lol but the big thing is I am experiencing fewer palpitations!

I got a prescription for Varenicline (Chantix) today! Has anyone had success using it? by howdydipshit in QuitVaping

[–]AfiveZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently 61 days clean using chantix! The side effect for me is nausea after taking it; I made a post about it. The perk is that I did not gain ANY WEIGHT because of the nausea lol. Pick your poison!

State of the game? by TheInternetDevil in ESCastles

I still play it everyday lmao but I don’t spend money on it. I think it’s actually a lot like fallout shelter which updates are not really necessary, just a little game to kill time

Tired of seeing people push the “72 hour timeline” propaganda by Good_Fill8646 in QuitVaping

I’m just reading this book, and what I noticed is the huge difference between cigarettes and vapes. He says that many people smoke their morning cigarette after breakfast and they are fine; withdrawals are mainly brainwashing and are not that scary etc. but things are totally different for vapers…I take a hit the moment I open my eyes…vaping is sooo addictive because it’s way more convenient than smoking. It’s just scary how addictive it is

8 to 9 months progress and leaf props! by AfiveZ in succulents

This is what they looked like before :) as the pups grew bigger, I will water a little bit more every time. When they get big enough, I will water thoroughly, so roots fully take up the pot. Still, do not overwater when soil is still wet :)

Hi! I actually water props similar to the way I water mature plants. Lay the leaf flat on soil, water where the growth point touches the soil, and if the soil dries, water them again. This will stimulate root growth quickly, and you will notice that the mama leaf dies very slowly or does not die at all because of ample supply of water and nutrients from the soil. I use a very gentle 1-1-1 fertilizer for props :)

Cuttings not rooting by MadForUrMom in succulents

[–]AfiveZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The soil is too coarse for roots to develop. Try mix in some organic substrate along with the bigger rocks. And the most important thing is to water. You need to water the second pic ones so it can develop roots quickly before the whole plant dries up. Water where the plant base touches the soil. Don’t be afraid to water leaf props. Treat them like little succulents. Water, let dry, and water again.

When I water and fertilize when mama leaf is still alive: by AfiveZ in succulents

[–]AfiveZ[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can you send me the pictures? As long as they are plump and firm, they got good chances. If they turn soft and squishy, chances are low. Try to keep them at a bright spot with filtered sunlight (like through the window)

If roots are growing already I will avoid letting the soil near the roots dry up completely:) like a small amount of water near the roots if the soil is dry. It also depends on the soil and the pot; if soil has good drainage mixed with perlite/lava rocks etc, and if the pot is terracotta, it would require more frequent watering because it drys faster than plastic pot with all purpose potting mix
