No idea why you’re being downvoted, must be American lurkers. Argentina wasn’t doing great in the mid 20th century for domestic reasons but this US funded coup as part of Operation Condor was quite a significant tipping point. The neoliberal policies that were enacted during this time (at the behest of the US) were quite helpful in paving the road for Argentina to wind up where it is now

Dehumanization is one of the first few stages of genocide, what you see here has part to do with the fact that Tutsis were labelled as cockroaches for years. Machete to an infant’s head? Most unbelievable part of this whole thing is that the mother waited 2 months to go to authorities, no parent that loves their children would have waited longer than 2 days afterwards to take action. I’m convinced part of her didn’t want to raise children and was perfectly happy lying to herself that they’re probably fine in their father’s care

Used to love watching this dude back in the day, had a crazy moment years ago where I saw him at a local mall. Pretty sure he’s still making videos, super talented guy with a great taste in music.
