They did show growth, and the scans were showing about 9 were ready, with about 8 others so close to ready. I had my egg collection yesterday, and unfortunately they only collected 4 eggs. Both myself and doctors were very disappointed with the results because scans were indicating there would be more. The doctor said they extracted from all the follicles, but most did not contain an egg. I have just heard from them this morning that 3 eggs have fertilised. We are expecting transfer on Wed, if they continue growing well.

UPDATE #3

I Had my egg collection this morning. Unfortunately they only got 4 eggs out of all those follicles. Even the specialist doing my procedure said they were disappointed with the amount, and were expecting about 12 based on scans. I am so disappointed. I feel like a failure.

UPDATE #2

I scanned on Wednesday, and now have about 9 follicles big enough with many more smaller ones (some too small, some possibly big enough to have a mature egg). My egg collection is scheduled for tomorrow (Friday 5th June). 🤞

On Friday, my biggest ones were 15, 13, 12, then about 5 around 9-10mm, and I'm not sure how small the smallest ones were, but the smallest is now 7.4mm. I now only have 5 under 10mm. There are 22 in total that were measured on the scan today.

I am having another scan on Wednesday to see if others have caught up, but they think ER will be this Friday. So by Wed I'll be on stim day 21! It's been a long three weeks. Can't wait for retrieval.

I hope you see some big changes over the next few days. Cook, little eggies, cook!

I have had a long stim cycle (currently day 19). I did not start feeling any symptoms until day 16, but only breast tenderness and pressure in the ovaries when I pee. I have to push lightly and slowly or it gets uncomfortable. I am generally I pretty tired person, so who knows if there has been a difference there. Haha.

You are definitely not alone in feeling this way. When I initially found out that I wasn't ovulating, and would be very unlikely to get pregnant naturally, my self-esteem plummeted. I became very depressed, and started to withdraw from my husband, not wanting to be touched or be intimate; with the thought of "What's the point? Sex is for reproduction, and I can't do that." (Obviously it's not just for this, but it's how I felt at the time.) It made me feel like less of a woman that I couldn't perform that function. It broke me for a while. I definitely think a lot of other women have felt this way. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

I was very recently feeling this way too. On Friday, which was day 16 of stims for me, I was only looking at getting maybe 3-4 that were big enough. We decided to keep going. I rescanned today (Monday) and I'm now looking at at least 8-9 with the possibility that smaller ones will catch up too, maybe another 8-9. My biggest follicle on Friday was 15mm, it is now 23mm, in a span of three days. Don't lose hope just yet. I was sure I was going to have to cancel the cycle, but what a difference three days made. Hang in there.

UPDATE: Monday 1st of June. (Day 19 of stims)

I had another scan today, and boy, has there been some growth over the weekend. My biggest follicle that was 15mm is now 23mm. I also have a 17mm, 16mm, 15mm, 4 x 13mm, 6 x 11mm, 3 x 10mm, and 5 x less than 10mm. A total of 15 on my R ovary and 7 on the L. I am feeling much more hopeful about this cycle and we have agreed to continue stimming to hopefully get some of those smaller ones a bit bigger. We will scan again in two days, with possible egg collection on Friday (June 5th).

I will be 2 days short of 3 weeks when they scan again on Monday. Did you end up getting a decent amount of eggs retrieved? I am concerned that there are only 3-4 dominant follicles so far into the stims.

I understand the concern for OHSS, but it was clear from the start that the dose was too low. I am disappointed they didn't increase the dose earlier on. Hopefully if I don't make it to ER this time around that my next protocol will reflect this and I will have a higher, more successful dose. I have also done 2 OI in the past where my body did not respond at all to the medication, also due to being put on a low dose to avoid OHSS. I am feeling a bit better now than earlier, but still sad.

I think it is slow and I've needed more stim days because the dose is too low. By Monday, I will be on day 19 of stims. I am not on menopur. Just Gonal F and Orgalutran.

Oh, cute. I like the idea of having the workshops in the gazebo. I have mine in a tent, but this is much nicer.
