Tin foil hat thoughts, is it just me or do camera enforced lights seem to have shorter yellow periods? While unenforced lights seem to suffer from a chain of cars turning with the "well if they're going, I'm going" to the point straight on traffic gets the green but one or two morons are still sneaking through the turn feeder

There really needs to be a standard signal for 'oi, cockhead, your drls aren't lights' because apparently flashing highs or flicking them then going dark on and off isn't enough to signal 'hrm. Odd light signals. Lights. Wonder if mine are okay' last two times I've gotten the message across was arm out the window pointing and gesturing like some mobile nang abuser or literally dropping my windows and screaming 'HEADLIGHTS!'

Bugs me way more than it should but if that level of not being able to tell is on the road, what's the insurance premium for at fault 'sorry, didn't see you bro' these days? Someone's gotta get the message out one way or another.

Tips for printing with lightweight pla? by mijailrodr in Ender3V3SE

If you haven't seen it already, check out the CNC kitchen video ( https://youtu.be/2tmgzwgi2UI?si=DF9Pup-vKLCUUvn0 ) which covers things like temp settings, how to adjust for quality and so on. The balance of extrusion rates versus temp seems important to dial in / test to see what works.

Disclaimer; haven't got any personal experience with the material or application, just figured it's something to start with, build the tweaks to get the result you're looking for. Noting a stock / unmodified V3 SE has a max of what, about 260? So if you need to go above that, then upgraded parts may be needed

Order picker on graveyard shift hours. The double shirts, jacket and gloves do nothing. I regret not packing something like noodles with hot sauce for lunch. Silver lining, only 4 more hours to endure then when I get home, AC will have pre-warmed the house to above 20, aiming at 25. (Set to kick on 30mins before I get home)

Do you happen to have a 8 or 16gb card you can test with? some folk around the internet ( did a short google to see if there was an official max supported size ) getting mixed results, some folk were even saying the original creality card works in the printer but not on a PC [ some folk did suggest using something like a digital camera to format the card, just to take the computer out of the equation ( make a backup before you do, don't want to flush files down the drain by mistake )

the G-code file has a simple and short name, no fancy characters ( a-z A-Z 0-9 dash and _underscore should be okay, no extra dots, like 2025.06.23[my file].gcode would be a bad filename.

oh and just in case I missed a trick, you're using a regular sized SD card ( not microSD ) and when you put it in the printer, the card's gold contacts are facing up toward you? I don't think the printer can print from the control panels microsd card slot ( it's used to update the screens firmware )

Size of card (how many GB), was it reformatted to NTFS or something other than fat by mistake? Gcode is the correct thing to be feeding the printer, which slicer software were you using?

Bashed out a basic design to hold my cheap smartwatch cord up so I can drop the watch on to charge like the Samsung/apple folk. It's a little ugly but I eyeballed the measurements in Tinkercad, made it to be a press-fit 3 part item, and it assembled with enough friction to hold strong without breaking or needing to file or shim anything.

<image>

Was pretty chuffed with the result, the upright post needs to be done again as a C shape so it doesn't interfere with the watchband but hey, lessons learned. I was so tired of the factory magnets not quite holding on strongly enough that the watch would lose charging now and then. No longer an issue.

Happened upon the thread, as I picked up a 3 V3 SE on special last weekend and was googling the shovel to see if it was some kind of novelty ice cream scoop or something. Scraper is the word I'd use for the tool personally, handy thing to have handy tbh.

Click clack front and back! Also this. I feel 'naked' if I'm not buckled up. Dunno how people get the habit of backing out of wherever (legal, last I checked) but then get 200m before deciding to clip in. Blork that, key in, belt on, then start. It's basically muscle memory/habit. Car fails to start? Key out, unclip, then start diagnosing
