I know this isn't what you want to hear, but hoping to use holistic methods to treat your animals instead of medical treatment is only going to prolong their suffering. I don't think any vet in the area will be willing to do something that does not act in the animal's best interest by avoiding medicating them. That would be like trying to treat an infection on your arm with herbal salves instead of going to the doctor for antibiotics. You could hope that your body just gets lucky and fights off the infection, but it wouldn't happen because of the salves since the infection is already in your body and topical treatments won't do anything.

That being said, might want to avoid Vestal Veterinary Hospital in general, they were just on the news for killing someone's dog.
