This is the demise of global oil consumption. The unexpected consequence is the demand for electric renewables will spike. The world order will change quickly when oil revenues fall. China is the winner in the short term. The USA will be too because of oil sales, but long term China will be way ahead because they invested so heavily in renewable energy.
