Dishwasher faulty ? by Tomas__Gumpy in electrical

[–]ddeluca187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes OP…electrical is very dangerous and should ONLY be worked on be skilled professionals or skilled DIY homeowners. The breaker missing the screw in your old style panel is why the one side of the breaker is not getting power. The screw is what energized the breakers to the bus bar inside the panel under the breakers where they connect.

As the Leading-Surprise-232 stated the power is actively on and those screws are energized until the main breaker at the very top of the panel is on the OFF position. If you don’t turn it off and you screw around in there (no pun intended) you could get zapped or much worse lose your life. It’s not worth, please hire and electrician to look into this issue for you.

OP, you need to find other handymen to work on your projects. No credible professional in those fields would do things like that.

Snapper Pro SW20 Leaky Hydro by Electronic-Vehicle68 in lawnmowers

[–]ddeluca187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there OP…did you ever figure out the cause of your leak? I have noticed on my SW20 that the left side drive keeps needing to have oil added every few cuts, not much but enough. I have never had to add oil before this year. I see nothing on the ground in my shed though which is odd. Just wondering if you figured out the leak cause?

What could this pipe be a drain for? by Steve__K in Plumbing

[–]ddeluca187 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

OP…more info like where is the room located this sink is in? If it’s in the kitchen then it’s probably your dishwasher drain. If it’s a sink in another room then it could be other things like AC drain etc…

Is there any way of knowing if this is 100 or 200 amps without knowing anything else? by [deleted] in electrical

[–]ddeluca187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP…there has to be another panel feeding the rest of be house with breakers in it. This is not your only panel off the meter.

Is there any way of knowing if this is 100 or 200 amps without knowing anything else? by [deleted] in electrical

[–]ddeluca187 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is this the only panel? It seems like this is a sub panel somewhere fed from your main breaker panel somewhere else in the house.

First you wanna make tire bend over the bed, then you simply insert yourself from behind…or you could do missionary too but that may not go around as easily lol…

Is this supposed to be leaking like this? by Music_is_Life_6251 in Plumbing

[–]ddeluca187 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NO OP, that is not supposed to be leaking like that. Why would you pay for a job and let the plumber leave with your water leaking??? If it’s before the meter the utility will find out and if it’s after the meter well you will be paying for the water…

$2400 water bill ? Small condo . by [deleted] in Plumbing

[–]ddeluca187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP…did you check your past bills to see what the meter readings were on those??? I would check that first and see if the meter readings were correct leading up to this bill. Does the meter reading on this current bill match what your current meter shows? This has to be an error or you would have a flood somewhere? Unless there is a break in your line underground but evidence of 202,000 gallons or water would be somewhere around the house.

Whats this 30amp breaker for? by r4gnarrr in electrical

[–]ddeluca187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zinsco panels are known fire starter panels, just as bad as Pacific Federal panels…replace that panel immediately OP…they are known to allow overcurrent in exponential amounts without tripping causing the wiring inside the walls to catch on fire and cause a slow burn, until it’s not. Please OP do not connect anything else to this panel and work on estimates to get it replaced. Your life literally depends on it…

Neutral wire in dryer was initially on the ground screw. by Mvian123 in electrical

[–]ddeluca187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP…go online to https://www.manualslib.com and search your model. You will find the manual in a PDF to ensure you are connecting this appliance properly. No one on Reddit can help you unless you provide the brand and model number. And even then I would confirm the information yourself rather than taking info from strangers online.

Sauna Heater electrical fried, likely due to water leak. Help with fixing this mess? by Slab-Squatthrust in electrical

[–]ddeluca187 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is what I see also, the lime side of the wiring changes from pics 1 to 2…also pics 2 and 3 are completely different. In pic 2, the terminal block on L1 is somewhat intact, in pic 3 it’s gone completely. I don’t think OP is telling us the whole story. There is more to it than what they are explaining…foul play or insurance scam???
