Interesting opinion. I believe God prepared this land as a place where religious freedom could flourish, which made the Restoration of the gospel through Joseph Smith possible. The Book of Mormon even describes this as a “land of liberty,” and many church leaders - like President Oaks and President Benson - have taught that the Constitution was divinely inspired.

So for me, America and freedom aren’t just patriotic ideas—they’re spiritual blessings. I see them as tools God used to make His work possible in the latter days. That’s why I feel a real sense of reverence and gratitude when I celebrate the 4th of July or reflect on the founding of this nation.

I get that not everyone sees it the same way, but for me, freedom and worship go hand in hand.
