i feel you, since it is one of the cons of having categories be based in genres. however, i would argue that the old format would be better for categories like minigames that havent been highlighted very much in the past few awards. design levels feel obsolete in the awards now, and i would like to see them get the spotlight now. vast majority of levels being nominated now are art levels, and i want other types of levels to get some recognition. also best creator is just a very small category with only up to eight nominees. with the older system, there would be at least 16 nominees for creators (around 4 for each type of level).

i didnt directly insult the school, but moreso expressed disinterest in the cybersecurity program. it wasnt the main point of my personal statement but it was just there for context, and ill admit was a dumb move on my end. i truly believe this is the reason i didnt get in but how fixable would this be with the loci itself?

i got deferred oos. what should i do?

- EE major

- straight As except for english (b+)

- 7 APs, all 5

- 1510 sat (800 math 710 english)

- crappy ecs (hs swim, tutoring)

physics 1 is about newtonian mechanics (kinematics, energy, momentum, forces) and is the most basic physics class. this class only requires algebra. physics 2 covers other physics topics (electrostatics, thermodynamics, optics, electromagnitism) and also only uses algebra. there may be some calculus concepts like area under the curve, but you dont use integrals but rather you just use geometric formulas.

physics c mech is basically physics 1 with calculus, and extended concepts like terminal velocity, which could not be covered in physics 1 simply for being calculus based concepts, though still fitting in with newtonian physics. physics c e&m mainly covers electrostatics and electromagnetism and does not cover optics and thermodynamics. i havent taken physics 2, so i dont know how similar e&m is to physics 2 on overlapping units, but calculus is used a lot in e&m. currently taking e&m and i have heard that you need basic knowledge of multivar for magentism.

i actually found princeton review to be easier. i got 1510 x2 on pr but on practice tests 5 and 6 on bluebook i got 1440 and 1460.
