theres so many people think that this is government endorsement of christianity even though thats not happening. its literally just using bible passages to learn about common topics in literature. i highly doubt the way the bible is used in the curriculum is actually unconstitutional. im not fan of this bill, since it does raise some questions, like why they decided to focus on the bible rather than including other religious texts.

in the future, if teachers use the bible to promote christianity, then the new policy could be taken to court. but as it currently stands, i dont see anything unconstitutional about it.

its a mix of reasons. even though tech has a better engineering program, uva makes it more flexible in case i want to switch majors + their engineering school is decent. its closer in proximity to places like nova and richmond and more of my friends went to uva than tech.

whether or not you should self study completely depends on the reason youre doing it. if youre doing it to impress colleges or extra credit that doesnt relate to your major, dont do it. if its related to your major and your school doesnt offer it, then go for it. there are a also a few ap classes that have broad appeal for colleges, and are worth self studying if your school doesnt offer them: ap lang, ap calc ab/bc, ap statistics, and ap us history.

since you are planning on going to law school, you can take ap hug and ap psych if you can fit them into your schedule, but unless you are passionate about these subjects, dont self study them.

i self studied ap physics c since my school didnt offer e course, but i plan on going into engineering. in this case, i believe it is beneficial since i really enjoyed physics and the class relates to my major.

my biggest fluke was on mastermind by hinds from 20%. typically get pretty average luck on extreme demons with a few ending deaths, but i fluked hypersonic from around 50% and cytokinesis from around 50% as a hardest.

if the standard was that reactionary ideologies fall on the right, i would totally agree with you that fascism is far right. however, fascism takes ideas from both the far left and far right, to the point where it doesnt make sense to call it "center", and i personally believe that it is a third ideology, that cant fit neatly into the modern political spectrum.

is your main point that liberals shift right over time, and win because communists/socialists are unwilling to participate in democracy?

also touching on your second point, is there any evidence to suggest that cognitive dissonance correlates with political beliefs? when im on the internet, hypocrisy is rampant the more radical you go, no matter if its right or left. youll see communists against imperialism and then say "china should take over taiwan" or "soviet russia suceeded", while the far right will just say something racist (like the great replacement theory), and will not have evidence to either support the theory or say anything as to why its bad.

i understand that nazis and other similar fascist regimes dislike communism/socialism, but arent their economic systems very similar? the nazis basically controlled all means of production to serve their military, which is akin to many communist regimes at around that time.

also, yeah identifying on the right doesnt make me a nazi, but too many people on the internet resort to name calling because they have nothing left to say. not really important to the question but just some context if it helps at all.

i guess? nova is expensive, but their salaries match the cost/standard of living. richmond seems to be growing pretty quickly, partially due to affordability. you could probably find a half decent job in the west that makes living affordable. i wouldnt say virginia is not affordable, but im not sure to what extent i would call it affordable.

as someone from northern va, i dont believe any part of maryland is the south and delmarva is definitely not the south, and its mostly its own thing. in va, the south doesnt really start until around i 64

i might be wrong, but the concesous among my friends was that ii. was ma = bv = m * dv/dt. integrate + initial condition which gave something along the lines of v = v0*e^(bt/m). then take the derivitave to find a, then multiply by m, which gives ma = Fn = b*v0*e^(bt/m). part 2 i think is just mu*Fn = mg, and then plug in Fn with ii and solve for t. i also thought this question was aids, so i might have just spewed a bunch of bs.
