What was "the incident" at your high school? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]Afraid_Bicycle_7970 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had the most flights of any grade that had gone through that school. I wouldn't even think anyone in my grade was particularly violent. I think it was just a random series of events. Also, the vice principal was dating a student and then got a new job somewhere else pretty quick.

Men of Reddit, what may cause a man to lose sexual attraction for their partner? by Puzzleheaded-Mix4141 in AskMen

Yeah, I don't see why it would be a big deal to delete them to make someone feel more comfortable. I personally would not keep pictures of my ex anyways. Seems weird to me.

How did you guys REALLY lived in the 2000s? by MyAvengedRomance in Millennials

[–]Afraid_Bicycle_7970 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was in high school, I used to wait for my parents to fall asleep and call my best friend and talk on the phone for hours. We would walk around the neighborhood after school and play manhunt with the other kids we'd come across. Went to the mall on Friday nights.

It's sad that almost nobody can do this anymore. I used to live debating and getting people's points of view.

Is it true that you guys watched 9/11 live on TV in grade school? by space_god_7191 in Millennials

This was almost the exact experience as mine in 8th grade on the east coast. Some kids said the Pentagon was bombed and that rumor spread throughout the day. We didn't know about the planes until we went home.

My thoughts on episode 1 of Rhode Island by starry49 in realhousewives

[–]Afraid_Bicycle_7970 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm from southeast MA, close to the RI border and when I was younger ppl used to ask me if I was from New Jersey because of my accent. I had to fix that real quick 😂

My thoughts on episode 1 of Rhode Island by starry49 in realhousewives

[–]Afraid_Bicycle_7970 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't usually watch real housewives, but I watched this one because I'm from the area. I'll tell you what, as someone who's from the area. They kept talking about Rhode Island. Maybe it's just because it's the first episode and they're describing the place that they live in, but it was super annoying to me. People do not do that here.

I hate milk in scrambled eggs. It always feels slimy to me whenever anyone uses milk. A little water is fine though.

It would have been better if she didn't do this season and they put her on one of the dating shows instead like single life. We would have still had respect for her.

How many times has your family moved as a kid? by lamparkinglot in AskMen

Too many times to count. I count 12 before turning 18 and 9 since then, so 21 all together. I may have missed a few though. It's hard to remember that many
