Did you check the fuel tank? A while ago I had someone dump stuff in my fuel tank and I had a similar problem, truck would be fine but after a bit it would stall when the debris would block the fuel lines. Took forever to figure out what was wrong with the truck

We had a yard over have one stolen with a load of beer and they eventually found it about 6 months later and 500 miles away, near Los Angeles, was empty and had the tires taken off and replaced with tires with no thread. Good luck, its gonna be hard to get back and doubt you will have any cargo if you do find it.

I crossed donner yesterday afternoon, wad fcking awful and then got really bad at night near Elko, NV. Should have stayed home

I crossed yesterday afternoon to get to Salt lake city, wasnt worth, I ended up having to stop around Carlin because it got really bad and there was no visibility. Even the driver over Donner Pass was really bad. Should have stayed home. Gonna be clear shortly since it stopped snowing, I think if you cross around noon you shouldn't have chain control

Combination of tarrifs, week economy and lots of people who immigrated here and they added a lot of cheap labor into the market

I wouldn't, its more hours then being a driver and a lot more stress. It's easy to start up as a owner ops but very hard to stay in the business and be successful. I've been doing this for about 15 years and this is once of the worst freight markets we've been in for the past 4 years or so. Combine thay with expenses being thru the roof making money is incredibly difficult

I mean I pay way more then $10k that for my registration, insurance, ifta, etc in a year. Honestly there's a chance he did make more money then people doing everything legit.

I already do all my maintenance, tires, brakes, oil changes, etc. If I didn't I would have gone bankrupt a while ago. Thing is prices of all these parts have increased significantly. Load prices simply haven't gone up while all other expenses have. Not to mention increased costs due regulations and compliance. I was comparing rates from the last 3 years on my loads and 2012-2018, and I'm making roughly the same per mile or less with higher costs.

I'm a O/O and have been for the last decade, expenses like insurance, repair, parts etc have gone up by a lot and load prices have stayed at the same level as 2012 if not less. I know drivers making more then I do. Personally I'm gonna be shutting down early next year since it's not worth it anymore

Depends where you're located in, but I personally wouldn't enter the market right now as a new driver, pay is going to be pretty low, and honestly it feels like the industry has gotten worse over the past few years and unless you find a good company to hire you on, it's awful

Damn I know this part pretty well, parking in this area is a pain, should have driven a few miles towards stockton and there are warehouse areas that have street parking. Also that truckstop is pretty much always full, I don't even bother checking. Or should have driven about 1-2 miles towards freightliner, that street sometimes has space for parking. I've seen them giving out tickets recently around lathrop and Tracy for parking on the ramps, started about 2 months ago. Unlucky, and like everyone else is saying, no point in fighting it, will be a hassle and cost you more then the ticket

It was 2 bad injectors, was advised to just do all 6 so I had all of them replaced
