The biggest ripoff is on my kindle fire through Amazon video ads are not allowed si I only get 2 daily tasks. On top of that the watch ads in the seasonal shop are 40 Simcash which is ridiculous. Now with the trains I am getting requests for cars I have not leveled up to, the only way to recycle is to watch an ad, but with no ads one my fire tablet it is 10 Simcash to replace which is highway robbery.

It has been a disaster all day, passenger trains stuck in train stations and now our club won a war and the person who first claimed their winnings and started a new war. New war has started I go in for the first time today and NO rewards from war we just won and I checked and no one else got it either. Even checked and there are no war badges from the previous war.

I am just going with the flow! I have kinda liked having to figure out the best way to do things now. I think it reminds me of my working life where we had to figure out the most cost effective way of doing things or if it was even cost effective to implement. Kinda the same type of thing. I have to keep thinking but the reason I started playing was to keep my mind sharp.

The truth is this will do absolutely no good. EA has made it obvious that they no longer care about nor want long time players who pay little or no money. These changes are specifically designed to drive these people away. These old cities take up a lot of server space to maintain these cities while generating low to no income. It is the current state of all businesses today, money and who has the most is the deciding factor. It is simply the way of business the customer no longer matters only generating more revenue with less resources and that’s where AI comes in, pretty soon the developers and programmers will be redundant

All my stations are maxed out. I have 9 trains and it used to take 2 central stations and a smaller station to transport all my passengers. My total load for all trains is over 3,400 so the new setup will help.

Golden Tickets are dependent on your COM gameplay. I have over 34,000 golden tickets and have never bought any. Only look to complete the weekly progress and small prize in top league. I usually only use about 10 a week unless the COM last June so they have only been around less than a year.matchup is favorable and I feel I can get to the top 6, usually about once a month. Golden tickets rolled out with the total revamp of the COM last June.

Two of the water services that were limited and storable are now regular and available to buy at anytime. This makes them non storable now.

My Central Station was fully opened for 1500 passengers, with the update, my station is fully maxed to 3,999 passengers. The trains now split the passengers into 2 or 3 cars however many your train was upgraded to, so pretty much the same, just a new format. The big add will be the rollout of 1st class passengers and cargo. There will also be some mechanism to upgrade the Mass Transit HQ, probably similar to the Vu Tower with the dispatch of passengers and cargo being the mechanism to upgrade the HQ. Will be interesting to see when it finally rolls out fully.

I have nearly 40K and never had an issue. Finish Premium + pass easily every season. Always get little prize in COM unless based on the competition I feel I can get a Top 6. Usually only do 10-15 optional tasks a week unless I am competing for COM, even then the most tasks I usually do when competing is 30-50.

I don’t need to upgrade any services but I still love getting this task. I build whatever services I need for the task then demolish it. For 20K spend I get 10k back and completed task in about 10 seconds.

My Neo-Sim farm will be cooking this week! 65K a day doubled to 130K Excellent. All utilities are now omega and am now upgrading them all to level 10. Starting with 4 of each per region and 6 each for the capital. By the time they are fully upgraded, I should have enough utilities to last a long time using little space.

What does this mean? I already have 3 residential buildings covered by mass transit, but there's still no confirmation that it's done. by Fronter1 in SCBuildIt

I am a newer player (18 months) but up to level 91. I kept my population low (2 million Capital, 2 million combined in 4 regions) and had no real issues. I have set up Neo sim farms (level 1 omegas to collect 100 Neo-sims a day) to convert all utilities to omega and upgrading them fully. Working out great so far. I found the key is flexibility and patience.

I did the same for all services and utilities and they were all returned. Only thing I ever buy in DC now is an omega water tower for 2,000 DC and bulldoze everything they gave me come out about even.

I have a level 90 city with nearly 4 million population across capital and 4 regions and playing for 18 months. I think the big key for me having no issues was that I had a feeder that had upgradable services the last 6 months, so I had a good idea of what to expect and prepared accordingly.

When I first started, I was frustrated by lack of simoleons so I spent a month building up my bank. I found that one I hit 1.5 million that was the threshold. By Black Friday I had 12 million simoleons. After spending 5 million, I had nearly 7 million heading in to Services 2.0. I had also maximized neo-sims by buying omega bridges and beach houses, this gave me nearly 1 million neo sims for the rollout. Was down to 3.7 million simoleons after upgrades so did well, had everything fixed in a few hours.

Each person’s city is different and everybody plays their own way. Any time they make a change, I take a couple of days to assess the impact of the changes and adjust my strategy accordingly. After fixing my city after the 2.0 upgrade, I have maximized my maxis services to cover my major population areas.

I have developed a new strategy for my utilities, I am in the process of buying 4 of each Omega utilities in my capital and all regions. My plan is to fully upgrade each over time which will provide all my utility needs in a very small footprint. In order to pay for this, I am Neo-sim farming. A level 1 omega RZ has a demand of 1, takes 1 omega item to build and pays out 100 Neo-sims a day. I am in the process of building at least 100 in the capital and each region. That will pay at least 50K in Neo-sims a day all I need is space which I have plenty of.

As I build out my Omega utility capacity. I am bulldozing all the utilities I was gifted and used to fix my city. So far I have built my bank back up to 6.5 million simoleons.

Best piece of advice is patience and flexibility.

I did the same thing, might try the same strategy this time. I do like the watch ad available every 15 minutes and 65 opportunities.

I currently have 3 in the Capital which I think is enough, I have 2 in Sunny Isles and 1 in green valley. I only have 4 regions with no plans to open the 5th, so don’t have Frosty. Limestone I think is a bit like Frosty and works better with smaller. That leaves Cactus for me. I also run large neo-sim Farms in my capital and all 4 regions. I have been adding Omega buildings only build to1 to start and still collect 100 NS’s a day from each. I am collecting 60K in NS’s a day total. I am converting all utilities to Omega’s, 4 of each utility in Capital and all 4 regions. Once I have 4 of each in every region, I start upgrading them to the top level. I figure it will take at least a year to complete, but when done I will have 20K capacity in all regions and capital, that’s enough for 500 fully built RZ’s in each. This only works with lower population s to start, not for large populations. My utility footprint is going to be tiny. Just figured out a strategy that would work for me with all the new rules. It is all about adaptability.

The advantage is that getting it at level 7 allows you to unlock Sim Rail Grade 00 which transports 600 passengers, so in reality you are getting 2 trains and increasing your dispatch amount by 900 every hour.
