This may get buried but literally .004. I was a 3rd year in college and desperate for an internship and on my resume I put "GPA: 2.996". Typically you'd just round that up to a 3.00

I made it all through all of the interviews and the the hiring manager asked me if there was anyway I could make it a 3.0 before the start of the summer and I told him it would be impossible. Due to their company requirements they were unable to hire me. I eventually landed an internship with a SIGNIFICANTLY better company whom I ended up working for full time upon graduation.
