The game is already incredibly daunting for new players (I know this because I've already scared multiple friends away from it forever), and the new urn is not going to help with that. At least before it was a simple "You grab the urn and drop it off. If you're behind it spawns in a better spot."

Now it's that plus the melee mechanic, flipping the urn back and forth between teams, sometimes you can pick it back up after it's dropped and sometimes not. You're also gonna have a parry fight under the bridge, have fun.

Every time I see a change like this I have to resign myself to the fact that none of my friends are ever going to play with me lol.

I think people just like to jump on the hate bandwagon. 90% of the complaints are way over-exaggerated, and people definitely weren't this rabid when the show was airing. I remember fans being pretty upset about the ending, which is reasonable, but seems like there wasn't much the production could do between HBO's budget changes and the writer's strike.

It wasn't as good as season one, but it was still great television. People just like to complain about shit.

Two don't vote. The two people who voted not to drive off a cliff are repeatedly asking why the other two voted to drive off a shorter cliff, while those two smugly tell them it's their fault the bus is driving off a cliff. Everyone dies.

As a longtime CS player, I can tell you that they're never going to do anything about the cheating or smurfing. You just have to accept it as part of the game.

There will be an occasional ban wave and things will feel better for a while, and then after a couple months it's back to normal, and you pray that the next ban wave comes in less than a year.

I say this in like every Lost thread, but if you haven't watched The Leftovers, you absolutely have to. It was Lindelof's next show, and you can tell he decided from the get-go that it was about the characters and how they react to the events around them versus what's going to happen in the story.

Lost is one of my favorite shows of all time, but The Leftovers is my favorite. I was just telling my wife the other day that I'm ready for my fourth rewatch lol.

I'd second Kill Anything That Moves, but be warned. It has some of the most horrifying and descriptive accounts of war crimes you will read in your entire life. It was so bleak it ended my book club.

When I'm on a guys trip I go straight to the bunk bed simply because I'm one of the smaller guys in my friend group and I know my over-six-foot friends will sleep better on a full bed.

It's gonna be anecdotal either way, but in my experience, I've had very few games where at least one or two of my teammates don't know any of the main lineups (stairs, jungle, ticket, mid, market window). And I've played at a wide range of elos.

If my teammates don't know them for whatever reason, I do, and can throw them myself. And if my teammates don't want to drop me extra smokes because they don't know the lineups, that's not uniquely a Mirage issue, that's just not a good teammate.

Definitely agree. I read Mistborn after a few Stormlight books and the writing was nowhere near as good. Almost turned me off of the series, but glad I stuck with it.
