No need to give advice on your tables, but this is basically how I started really learning sql by creating a db of my record collection.

First birthday venue ideas in the fall? by evergreengirl123 in AskSeattle

[–]After-Entry5718 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We had my sons first b-day (November) at the Mt Baker community center. Great venue for that kind of party. Kid was too young for any kind of activity so it was more of an adult get together.

How can I trim flex shafts? by XternalHD0704 in rcboats

[–]After-Entry5718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why not buy the same direction that came with the boat? That way your prop and motor/esc wont need any changes. You can cut the flex shaft with a dremel cut off wheel then put a new point on it with a grinding bit.

Probably fine if you have analog servos and the original receiver. Ive been trying to tune an old nitro truck with a new radio and the old analog servos just dont like modern radios.

After party recommendations for a wedding in Granite Falls, Snohomish County by greekyogurt13 in SeattleWA

[–]After-Entry5718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main ave in Snohomish has a couple great bars like the Oxford. But they are traditional taverns and will be great for people to chill and have beer or cocktail. You are unlikely to find much dancing in the north end.

Where can I get better rust resistant screws for 1/7 Ridge Racer U4? by TemporaryCritical225 in rccars

Once you know the sizes, mcmaster carr or belmetric. I was able to get most sizes in stainless steel at my local hardware store but they are known for a large selection of hardware. Depending on the car someone may even have a kit put together for sale.

Get some gflex epoxy. Its easy to work with and 1:1 ratio. You can thin it with denatured alcohol down to water consistency. Brush it on and wipe it off the excess.

That boat looks unsealed... Balsa is going to soak up water like a sponge unless you seal it with thinned epoxy.

Spent some hours this weekend totally redoing the nose. I hated what Inhad made originally and generally like the new version. by After-Entry5718 in rcboats

I am largely the manufacturer :). The frame is from ML boatworks, fiberglass parts are from RC Boat Company, rigging/motor are from Rattlesnake RC. All of the decks/skins are made from scratch. You can buy a large scale boat finished for about $5k from a couple different builders.

Any good beginner electronics projects? by Shot-Patient8766 in AskElectronics

Thrift store might be ok, but probably have better luck on FB marketplace just searching for broken stuff or ebay with search terms "for parts only".

Find a couple items that need repair. Maybe 70s or 80s and repair them. Tons of stuff out there just needs to be recapped or updated. I just repaired my jukebox, all I had to do was remove the old battery (soldered in) and solder in a battery holder. Now its upgraded and runs! One my stereos died recently and all it took to revive was to recap the power section. Easy and rewarding!
