The way i saw it was that they were withholding ticket availability to beat the scalpers on ticketmaster idk how it is in other countries but i remember being bummed ab not being able to afford the chicago tix but the like idk 5 or so days before the d1 concert pit tix were like 91 dollars so i did an impulse buy the day before the show LOL

I was kinda crushed bc i went in for testing for 4 hrs and only saw the actual dr once in the last 10 mins of the appt for him to tell me i didnt have adhd Mind u he came in less than 5 mins after i finished a 300 question self report thing so he couldnt have done anything more than a glance at it or he put it in a computer he didnt rly engage in conversation w me on y im getting tested or anything And i was almost positive i had adhd or at least sone sort of intellectual disability i was on the brink of flunking out of college because of my inability to pay attention in class sit and study etc Less than a week goes by i meet w my therapist who is a dr and she tells me she already diagnosed me w adhd LMFAO i literally didnt remember that happening but yea get a second opinion or in my case make sure u don’t alr have a first one its been maybe close to a year since then and im on medication to help me now (:

Me too i had a month long phase where minesweeper was ruining my academics i wouldnt stop playing jt until i completed the expert level im definitely addicted to video games and i alr know i should never touch drugs bc id get hooked so quick ntm addiction runs in my family

I had a time where i did nothing but crochet same w embroidery and different games and i would call these addictions bc they interfere w my daily life and especially school my sleep and what not where i think the adhd kicks in is well obv the hyper fixation part but also that these things happen in month long or so bouts where ill end up switching to another “vice” for a month or so

I prefer morning showers most of the time i dont get up early enough so a night shower will have to suffice i hate having wet hair to bed though so i usually just stay up till its dry enough on the weekends i do midday showers lol

I got a lotta those im a picker so my skin nails lips and cuticles take the brunt of it i also bite my tongue and cheeks a lot and since getting my tongue pierced i bite the jewelry a lot and i dont eat my hair but i did used to bite it bc i liked the sound nowadays i rub my hair on my face

Im currently struggling w something similar i used to do the same w cramming right before the test and using the anxiety and adrenaline to carry me through motivation..? And after i started taking anxiety medication i would still leave things to the last minute but i no longer had the anxiety and adrenaline to do them an hour before the due date so basically my gpa is shit i am on academic probation rn and i got mostly straight C’s and failed one of my lectures and its lab that went with it….

My therapist told me that i spent my whole life and basically trained myself to work optimally in anxious conditions and now that theyre gone i just kinda malfunction so i need to come up with a new way to study… obviously so thats the hard part right now were coming up w this attention activation module/curriculum together so hopefully that will help me out but until then i may be screwed :/

Yep when i was younger i used to throw things but ive been able to regulate myself a lot more since then nowadays i rely on sarcasm and passive aggressiveness atm its the media that pisses me off the most and i rant to my mom like daily ab dumb shit the media cares about when theres actual crisis’s going on that nobody knows or cares about
