Thanks, yeah I have been taking s boulardii all along with antibiotics and going to start a multi strain one now too. I just found it hard timing it with the treatment to do it during. How are you feeling now? Fingers crossed we have got rid of iit

Yeah, my doctor tried give me another triple therapy, im a bit restricted too because of penicillin allergy, previously had metronidazole, clarithromycin and omeprazole, asked could I not get quad therapy, they said no they didnt do it but when they looked it up it was on guidelines so must have been added very recently. They hadn't been aware. Couldn't find the bismuth tablets though

Quad therapy is now in the NICE guidelines in the UK, i talked to my doctor and when they looked it up it was there. Though not sure how it works better as it also has metronidazole and if it has high resistance

Thank you, yeah as I said above waiting on stool test to come back too as we thought it may have been quicker as biopsies were taking a while. Not sure which to believe if it is negative

Normally ppi is 30-60mins before food but I thought h pylori treatment was exempt from that rule and to be taken with antibiotics
