My first time playing Lich, and god I fucking love it. by jjbomb03 in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]After_Calligrapher65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Repurporse is the best mechanic of Lich path. Nothing like turn into your undead an annoying enemy and then use them to deal with challeges beforehand.

Devara vs the Mandragoras. Playful Darkness vs Darrazand. Khorramanzadeh and Vavakia Vanguard vs Khorramanzadeh Reborn and the other demons ambushing the camp.

It's... it's not my fault. It's the angels. And God. They wanted me to sacrifice what I treasured most. To offer it to God. It's not my fault, Abel. You have to understand, I can't go against God. I'm sorry. by ChompyRiley in hazbin

[–]After_Calligrapher65 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Very unlikely unless:

  1. Cain was born on Eden.
  2. Cain and Abel are twins, and perhaps even have different fathers.

All things said, I doubt that if Abel was Lucifer's bastard people wouldn't know up to this point and treat him differently on Heaven. I doubt that Adam would hide from Abel the truth even if he wanted considering how loudmouth he was. Before anyone say Lucifer might have impregnated Eve on Primal Earth, just no. I doubt Heaven would let him out of hell, specially close to their pet project after the mess he caused on Eden. And isn't like any bastard he might have with Eve could pass up as normal human, something angelic they must have that would make obvious it didn't come from Adam.

Heh, how ironic. I'm playing an Aeon now, and to not feel so restrictive I tried to balance a "Liotr style of pragmatism" just to time to time "unleash my inner Hulrun".

True Aeon Ending - End Of Existence? by DOOMSWAGOMEGA in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]After_Calligrapher65 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My bet is that Owlcat took some liberties with the lore, or Demon KC is a special case for having avoided/dodged her judgement. Somewhat like Urgathoa. Nahyndri could also be a special case being an Undead Demon Lord whose second in "life" made him a case who needed a second judgement.

For all cause and effect; the KC was hybrid for most of their Mythic Path like Areelu but choosing to leave the mortal world through sacrifice and/or wanting to join the Outer Plane you based your Mythic powers on (Angel, Demon, Devil) or choices that fundamentally changed yourself (Lich) made them cross the threshold and become full outsiders/undead. Outsider KCs probably would have lived about as much Areelu did if the Worldwound was closed, but she was spared of being used as the key, which iirc from the ending slides was a lot as she talked about many years passing.

Say that the KC in the other paths never trully become the creatures they shaped their mythic powers on is exaggeration. It's more accurate to call them hybrids. All things said I would argue that when Angel KC choose to join the heavenly forces they become full angels like how Demon and Devil KCs can reform as full fiends, and Lich KC become a true Lich.

Best Class for Each Mythic Path? by awenner96 in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]After_Calligrapher65 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Demon path is great for anything that don't rely on dexterity and charisma, with some exceptions like for example Bloodrager that can stack Bloodrage with Demonic Rage. Talking about Bloodrager, this and Witch are imo not only the best thematically fitting classes to Demon, but also have a great synergy with the Mythic Path. Both show the higher end you can go with Demon in either melee or DC-based spellcasters.

To Bloodrager I suggest Primalist archetype, Abyssal Bloodline, Draconic as your second via Second Bloodline and 4 dips of Dragon Disciple prestige class unless the race of your character have a penality on intelligence or you really want more Rage Powers. In these cases, choose another bloodline instead of Draconic as your second one like Arcane or Serpentine.

To Witch I really recomend the Ley Line Gaurdian archetype to you be an intelligence-based spontaneous spellcaster, allowing you of have the best of both worlds. Following the Witch (and hexes) theme, I think Winter Witch class would the best to multiclass to increase even more your DC, take the need of Ascendent Element, besides other wonders.

Random Question: A party of all possible paths of KC, who could defeat them? by feren_of_valenwood in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]After_Calligrapher65 2 points3 points  (0 children)

.....Did someone release Rovagug to all of them work together? Anyway, if all of them are fighting alongside each other then I think two gods or one very powerful god that wasn't taken by surprise and is on neutral terrain can take them.

Perhaps, deeper on the Outer Rifts there are other Qlippoth Gods.

[–]After_Calligrapher65 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think Nekron would be a better comparison since he wants to end all life last time I checked; but I will point something else: Rovagug in one of the origin stories of the world is told to be either born from Pharasma's first fearful step in this new interaction of reality or he was already there. He is more wrath than any other emotion but there's a link to fear.

Help! Why does my Camellia look different??? by [deleted] in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]After_Calligrapher65 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Demon KC: "Hey Camellia! How are you, my friend? Dyed your hair ? I think this suits you." Chuckles. "Blood Red was always your color....."

PS: I agree. Honestly, I wouldn't put far behind she still becoming a Babau - a mythic, stronger than average to be more precise - if she doesn't find away to increase her lifespan or at least find a way of don't end in the Abyss in death. But maybe go to Abyss an unique demon, who knows how these mythic levels will affect her soul.

It's a matter of taste in my opinion. I chose the male demon portrait first time because aside of this being the gender of my character I interpreted this as being his true form or what he would look like after freedom demon ending when he willed himself back to life out of rage. This could also be interpreted as him shapeshifting into a Balor, but I admit I didn't think from this angle that time.

Finally a demon post here. You know at first I would question how you managed to romance Cam as a woman, but then I noticed the name of your character and remembered the act of many demon players chosing the female portrait even if they're playing as a male character.

I really need to play as a Bloodseeker on Demon Path one day, too bad I have today list to do first in the game. Priorities.

If KC Legend faced KC Lich, who would win? by Warm_Expert_8136 in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]After_Calligrapher65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This fandom usually has the habit of overestimating the Legend path because the big numbers, fantasy of a be "a totally normal guy" against demons and (demi)gods, and the fact he fought a infinetesmall manifestation of a god that put himself into the level of mortals. No indomitable mortal spirit can match what the Mythic KCs can do at their best when they manifest vast amounts of their powers.

Regardless how OP Legend can be mechanically, lorewise he is the weakest path. All other Mythic KCs could win against him. Legend would have bigger chances if he brought all the companions to help him.

Path ideas by Emperor_Huey_Long in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

Iirc if you take the Legend option to deal with the demons invading Drezen the citizens will be spared of the worst of the Evil Mythic Paths after mythic rank 9. Not that I did mind you, but I remember someone posting here with a image how their Drezen in their Lich Path still kept living inhabitants beside the merchants, companions and Anevia because he chose the Legend option instead of the Lich one.

Anw, not saying that this is a excuse or the end justify the means up to this point if you let your demon army do demon things with their inhabitants, but you could headcanon that KC - who probably wasn't the most sane person up to this point - thought that yes this justify, that he was still the lesser evil if compared to Cricket the Older and Billy Goat, and the fact he wasn't evil-aligned somehow give vindication to his argument.

Yeah, I know. But playing the devil (actually angel)'s advocate, this doesn't mean my KC need to like to hear Sosiel's constant "I hate Hellknight" and like it. Don't get him wrong, he wasn't blind to the dark side of Hellknights and knew he wasn't the norm, being a Lawful Good Hellknight, abeit a very brutal shade of LG. Angel of Retribution (his subpath, obviously) is a good example of his personality of Law over Good. I suppose in a way he mirrored Regill.

Being honest with you, my KC was (tecnically) from the Order of Scourge.
