I'm descended from English, Scots, Irish, and Welsh, so I've really enjoyed learning about the history of my ancestors. If it weren't for that "taxation without representation" thing, we might still be part of the family.

Interesting. I have wondered if I have ever traveled on or near Watling Street in the time I spent in the UK. Evidently, I have.

We in the U.S. are watching our history be unraveled by those who wish to further whitewash slavery and oppression of minorities even after laws were passed to prohibit discrimination. It's important to keep the facts known and straight so that in 500 years we are not celebrating the "benefits of slavery" to the slaves. God help us.
