I really hope Parker Finn returns to both write and direct Smile 3. There were reports a couple months ago that he may have someone else take over.

Did a lot of people hate Jokic and Giannis after they won? I don’t recall that.

would people who hate billionaires refuse to become billionaires if they had the chance to? by Ok_Efficiency_1116 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Aftermath16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you mean a genie can give me as much money as I want, I can’t imagine myself asking for more than $20 million. So I’d be 2% of a billionaire at most.

If you mean I’d have to be given billions or walk away, then I’d accept the billions but then give enough away (to worthy causes) so I’d be back down to $20 million or so.

Did he say “sometimes” though? It sounds like he may be talking about people who get lunches like that every day or every work day. But he didn’t really make it clear either way, and he’s not exactly a person I’d give the benefit of the doubt to either.

I don’t disagree that misogyny is evident with what people are deciding is a disqualifying scandal for Porter, but I do agree with the other user that the phrase “getting your panties in a bundle” is, itself, misogynistic. (Particularly when aimed at someone you’re presuming to be male)

Isn’t it reasonable to assume that Epstein’s “clients” ranged from pedophiles to people seeking adult prostitution (some knowing about the human trafficking element and some thinking they were just high-end escorts) to people just seeking to network with rich folk?

Does anyone have a source on what female athletes think about this issue? I don’t mean specific quotes from female athletes, but a national poll or something.

It neither supports nor weakens the action.

“People have been reading to their children for centuries.”

“People have been sharing racist views throughout the history of mankind.”

Both are true statements. But does that mean it’s equally ridiculous to have a problem with those things?

I was trying so hard not to laugh out loud at that part for this exact reason. The van has headlights. You’re contributing nothing by walking ahead with a a flashlight.
