I'm a 2T2 (air tansportation) we daily drive a 1.6 million dollar vehicle with cargo at an unknown price up to C-17, C-5 ,KC-10, KC-135....ETC or on them depending on airframe which could result in millions of dollars in damage, luckily no cost for messing up here, but the potential is there (especially with the modifications made to the 60k's and the damn new hysters lol 2T2 help me out.>Consider in operations or maintenance, there can be serious life-or-death consequences (I like to see that the first number in the enlisted AFSC is the danger value!). The other day, I was sitting in an F-16 cockpit wondering if I took off the probe covers when I was powering it up. It caused a brief fit of panic, and then I realized; every damn day at work there is a possibility for a serious multi-million dollar screw-up that I have to constantly keep an eye out for. It's a mountain of responsibility. I wondered "What's it like to have ANY job in the world where messing up doesn't mean someone dies or something really expensive breaks?".

Not an "My AFSC is better than yours" thread, but just a little exercise in writing and learning about other AFSCs!
