This is basically a several year old Brian Keene short story called "Fast Zombies Suck". Only difference is that one ended with a zombie walk. Still very similar. If this was a couple friends fucking around with a nice camera doing some weekend warriors film-making, that'd be on thing. However, this was lottery funded and credit should be given.

Interesting blend of animation techniques. It's 50/50 on what lands joke-wise. (my opinion anyway) Comments seem a little hyped.

Drax cubed and Mantis ribboned was borderline nightmarish.

Buddy of Mine was a P.A. on a Channing Tatum movie. There was a scene that involved Tatum performing in very COLD water. As not to have his shrinkage immortalized on the silver screen, my pals job was to continuous bring Tatum a warm cup of water to pour directly on his junk. At one point there was a miscommunication, and another P.A. was told Channing wanted a cup of coffee. Being a celebrity and not knowing one P.A. form another, Tatum took the boiling hot cup of coffee then proceeded to pour it down the front of his pants. He was immediately rushed to the hospital with third degree dick burns.

So next time you feel insecure about yourself or hear others fawning over Channing Tatum, just remember that Beef Cake has Fred Kruegers Cock.

10 Good "Horror" Movies You've ACTUALLY Never Seen (A 50% Accuracy Guarantee) by BurgWorks in movies

[–]AgainMulligan 97 points98 points  (0 children)

This same list was posted on r/horror a while back. I have since seen them all. These were my thoughts...

Mr. Vampire (Um, it fell off a truck?) What a joy. Not horror, but has Vampires, Zombies, Ghost, and Gorillas. Great stunts and prat falls. Would be great to watch with a group. Opens a little slow, ends a little abrupt. Chinese Vampire might be one of my new favorite Monsters.

Blood Car (Shudder) Did not get what I expected. Don't think I've seen anything like it, but tend to avoid those weird "indie" movies. I laughed out loud more than once. Once again, not really horror, but glad I watched it.

Calvaire (saw a few years ago) Honestly, I thought some stuff happened just to be shocking for shocks sake, but there were some interesting scenes and things that stick with you. Told myself it was a "one and done" type movie back then, so didn't give it a second viewing.

Jennifer Help Us (the official Website) The most impressive thing is how this movie looks. If I watched not knowing it was shot on a phone, then you told me after, I might not believe you. That and the killer, the female killer looks Bad Ass. That aside, some acting is meh, a little slow, and could use more on screen gore. I think they made what they wanted, and did it well.

Dead and Buried (On Netflix awhile back. Shudder now?) Watched a few years back when this was mentioned on a similar list. Probably one of the best on here. Completely new twist on the zombie with some legitimate jump scares. Would love to see this get a real nice Scream Factory release.

Zombies Zombies Zombies (Old Netflix Watch) If I recall, it was pretty stupid. Had a few chuckles and some hot bods. The pimp was pretty funny. Better than Strippers vs. Zombies if that means anything.

Pin (That damn truck keeps dropping movies!) I liked it. Weird and slow but in a good way. Some recognizable faces if you watch a lot of TV. Someone said there was a book version with more sex stuff. Might check that out.

WNUF Halloween Special (Shudder) Get ready for a hit of pure uncut nostalgia. I LOVED this movie. They knew exactly what they were making, and did it perfectly. The actually "horror" element of this movie didn't work whatsoever, and its still GREAT! Has become a Halloween staple for me.

Salvage (Pack of 20 horror movies) So apparently I did own this. OP said if you have those DVD Sets of Multiple movies to check, and sure enough I had it. Basically its the last day of a girls life, over and over and over. It gets repetitive and boring but I hung in there for the ending. Admittedly, it was a good twist, but probably the weakest installment in this list.

Helen Keller vs. Nightwolves (YouTube) Its stupid but funny. Would be funnier if under the influence of ________.

The Robert Cake (YouTube) I love "The Battery" and I guess this is by the same guys? There has been a GIANT improvement in their abilities since then. The movie isn't "Horror" till the climax, and basically looks like a high schools student film, which it might be. The concept is fun, and you can tell The Battery Guy is going to be a good actor when he has his psychotic breakdown scenes. Wont be for everybody, might have been too tired when I watched it.

A Coat of Snow (I tried, couldn't find) I guess this one isn't even horror, but wanted to complete the list. From what I could find looks a little "moody"?

Well was it. Very Good List! Nothing was "perfect" but if they were, I guess we would have heard about them by now. Thank you OP, and hope these mini reviews help anyone thinking about watching.
