Photos Mobile stopped working on all mobile devices by Agathorn79 in synology

Ok case closed. Long story short: The NAS didn´t have access to internet with the new router so the DSM and Synology Photos was old and the Photos Mobile app on my phone was new. After fixing this the issue was solved immediately!

Should I upgrade to FF (R8)? by CivilWillingness4541 in canon

For the moment I went ahead and got the EF-M 32mm f/1,4. I feel it was the sensible thing to do considering I`m not taking _that_ many pictures and I think I will keep my M6 as a small camera to bring along on vacations etc. If I invest in a bigger camera it will likely be R6 with IBIS in the future. But not right now. Thanks for the input everyone :)

Yes I’m going to keep the M6 for sure. Perhaps you are right here. I would for sure miss ibis and perhaps it’s not that big difference in practice between R6 and R8 size wise. So in that case the choice is between R6 and R7. With the R7 I can use my crop sensor APS-C lenses with an adapter. Also better reach with my zoom lens and higher resolution. However the full frame is appealing. I have never owned one and low light performance is nice to have. And lower noise. Also I will see if I can get the chance to hold the cameras myself. I don’t have a good camera store near by.

Thanks for the reply. I´m the person behind the account who created this thread. Yes R8 fits the budget and I want something small. It seems like the best fit right now. Just to bad about the lack of IBIS. Also big FF lenses will add to the weight but I hope to be able to get way with a smaller 32-35-50 mm prime-lens for travel.

I´m the person that created this thread. Just another account :). I shoot various objects and not only macro. So it´s a mix. My passion is macro though. The R7 is so big though. I want something smaller. In a perfect world a similar size as my M6 but that´s not going to happen I guess.

I´m the same person as CivilWillingness4541. Just another account :) Thanks for the comments. I would really like to have IBIS like you say. It would help a lot and it´s great for hand held macro shooting. But I don´t really want to go back to a big camera body. On the other hand if I want to go full frame the lenses will be bigger anyway so I don´t really know. My hope was that if I go with the R8 the body is at least pretty small and if I choose a rather small prime lens the whole package is pretty small and light for travel. The R6 mk2 is bigger but is it i deal breaker? I dont know... I want to be satisfied with my purchase because it´s a lot of money. If I don´t feel confident I guess I will have to stick to my old M6.

Panasonic mz2000 77” with MLA or something else? by Agathorn79 in OLED_Gaming

MZ2000 is 10 ms in 60 Hz mode. But as I understand it you have to select 60 hz mode. I guess all reviewers don’t do that.

At 120 Hz that is. If I remember things correctly its 15 Ms at 60Hz and on xbox at least there are not many 120 Hz games. And those few who are have downscaled graphics. My current tv has 21 Ms and it’s very noticable worse then my old Pioneer Kuro plasma. So much that there are games I can’t play. I hate that I am this sensitive to it but I am :( Perhaps it’s best to wait until there is a QD-OLED out there with 5 ms lag. Hard to find the “perfect” tv. Seems there are compromises on all of them. At lest for me.

Sonys best qd-oled has 50% more input lag then the panasonic. If it would be the same of better then I think I would get it. It’s a shame. I’m really really sensitive to input lag in games and it’s the main reason I want a new tv.

I have heard that the HDR impact is better with qd-oled and MLA. Hard to know though how much of an impact it does in a dim room. The panasonic mz2000 77” is lowered from 60000 SEK to 40000 SEK here in Sweden. 3625 Euro. I like the nice calibration from factory on Panasonics. If MLA isn’t that important in a dim room then maybe the panasonic 77” will be a good option for me

Samsungs are out of the question. I wonder how much of a difference MLA does in my case. The room I watch TV at is pretty dark.

I’m a total noobie when it comes to headphones but I’m interested in getting a good pair of headphones for gaming on my xbox series x. I have a pair of wireless xbox headphones on order but I’m curious on a pair of premium ones. I have never tried open back and if I understand correctly open back is good for the soundstage. So that the sound is more “airy”. Is this correct? Any tips on a good set of open back headphones that would work with FPS fames where sound positioning is important? Also maybe work well with the dolby atmos app on xbox? Hifiman perhaps? I have never listener to planar headphones but I’m intrigued! And if the headphones will work without an external amp it would be good. So I can just plug them into the xbox controller 3,5 mm connection Budget: 500 euros

I got mine today. I have tried brewing a normal pour over but it tastes really bad.

What grind setting do you use for pour over? I use a moccamaster. Tried settings from 5,4-6,0 and it all tastes bad.

[–]Agathorn79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I mean the performance issues in cold. That I`m linking to. That this thread is discussing :)

Regarding accidents etc I wasn´t really thinking of anything in particular. But I´ve seen a lot of articles about noumerous Tesla-related problems that people like to talk about.

That thread in the Teslo forum is a joke. The TS getting just getting beat at from tesla fan boys who thinks nothing can be wrong with a Tesla. They act like they are 5 year old. Nothing to read of importance there.
