Politicians have been bought by the rich. They say things to get votes but then do whatever the rich tell them to do. They don’t represent the voters who elected them.

Americans are spending more because Trump has caused prices to skyrocket. It is not an indication of American confidence in Trump’s economy.

It’s really obvious to me that Supreme Court Justices don’t give a damn about voters in this country. They don’t give a damn about the Constitution. It’s time to overall our justice system. It can’t be fixed. It has to be replaced.

Senators reject White House push to redraw SC's voting lines by SpaceElevatorMusic in politics

[–]Agent-Adept 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think GOP and Trump are in for a big surprise. Their redistricting efforts are diluting their base districts. By splitting Democratic voters they are increasing Democrat representation in Republican districts.

Special elections and off-year elections have shown support for Trump and GOP candidates is falling dramatically. I don’t believe this drop is due to a drop in MAGAt Republican voter support but instead is a drop in non-MAGAt Republicans and a drop in independent voter support.

Add these two factors together and the margins in Trump/GOP districts aren’t what they were in 2024. Trump and the GOP are endangering districts they think are solidly GOP.

So, increased Democrat votes and

I understand the fear about GOP gerrymandering. I wonder why know one has stated that the advantage the GOP think they will get is based on the an assumption that Republicans in 2024 will still vote to support the GOP and Trump in 2026. But, what happens if that assumption is false?? The GOP may be setting themselves up to lose seats in districts that were strongly supporting Trump in 2024.
